Just resd this on AI Director Lee Sang-yeob stated at a 2026 press conference that the season was made more "compact" to align with modern viewing habits, focusing strictly on the most engaging parts of the story. By removing "filler scenes" that were more prevalent in earlier seasons, the series aims for a high-intensity focus on the core romantic conflicts and the pivotal "inflection points" of Yumi's final chapter.
I know some relationships aren't meant to last and even though I knew end of season 2 going in, I am really hoping to see something better for Yumi, something more heart fluttering to help heal the disappointment and sadness of s2 relationship
Two questions to posters: 1) Why does FL call ML Foxy? is he as sly as a fox or foxy as in attractive, or is it badly translated from the Chinese meaning? 2) Does anyone know the name of the song snippet that sounds like it's being sung by a child? maybe a poem or lullaby? I can't find on youtube and not listed in the ost on drmawiki
I love Daddi Tag, I think he is very underrated and would love to see him as the ML of a drama again. I am having a hard time thinking of him as the villain lol. And Cheng Lei is my new FAV...I think I can watch him in anything!
what the heck happened with the second half of this drama? it made no sense, came out of left field and why did they keep overlooking the crap bad characters were doing? lovely soundtrack, interesting tea facts, and interesting sisterhood dynamic, but they emasculated the male characters too much. I don't like when they dumb down women either but I think writers ruined what could have been a very good series. ML character not believable toward end, FL messing with him too much, they got rid of extra characters in a slip shod way - they didnt vene add to the story.
My opinion won't be popular but need to express it. I think He Yu is doing a great job with this role - different from other roles he has undertaken. Otherwise, I was looking forward to this series but I am a bit disappointed. The editing is a bit awkward and the story is similar to other illegal drag race stories, tokyo drift, need for speed, fast and furious etc. I do think the action sequences in this series are good, but I am disappointed in the soundtrack. Esther is her usual character - she doesn't add much to the story or chemistry. I was hoping to see a diff side of her - like in my journey to you. Lastly, did I miss an explanation of why her dad drinks so heavily? He should have taken responsibility for his daughters surgery and not left it to his adopted son. Wonder if the novel fleshes this out more...
I don't have a problem with may dec older woman younger man romance but i couldn't buy into this one. MC looks young for her age, but 20 years (reality) is a big gap and there was a slight ick factor to their interactions for me. she was a bit controlling and he was a bit stalkerish. I loved the rationale life and my fated boy was cute I even liked find yourself but just didn't get the same vibe with this one
I am not necessarily a fan of DD but I think this part suits her. Was enjoying the monster fantasy until the fight scene ep6/7 it was like someone fell asleep while shooting it - lack luster- bad choreography just plain lame and bad CG. a shame really
