I've watched till episode 8āI'm amazed by their chemistry! Every romantic scene feels genuine, without any cringe moments. Great story, beautifully directed, fantastic acting. I'm loving every bit of it!
As a responsible BL fan, I am reposting the message as it is my duty to ensure anyone who is loving this series should not miss 'Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island Extra'.
I will fall short of adjectives because their love story is as beautiful and adorable going forward as it was till now! Just watch it š„¹
A solid 10/10 for this drama! So many feels... Such fresh, raw and youthful romance! Great setting! Great music! Amazing opening sequence! Amazing post-credits scene! GREAT CHEMISTRY!!!!
Enjoyed every part of every episode! Didn't skip a single part of any episode, not even the post-credit!
Chinese creators surely can shake the whole BL industry if they are not under constant threat of censorships š«
This might be the most beautiful piece of narrative art ever created. I truly believe it deserves an Oscar or something even greater, if such an award exists. And I mean that without the slightest exaggeration.
I honestly donāt know what to say. Just... thank you to every single person who poured their soul into making this masterpiece!
Even after all these words, it still feels like I havenāt expressed my love and appreciation enough. Thatās just how deeply it moved me.
Or is it not because he can manipulate him and control him? Not because he cares? In my opinion he is a narcissistic…
Disclaimer: My judgment is based solely on the series, not the novel, as I haven't read it.
I donāt think itās fair to judge Fujisawa solely based on his actions in Episode 6. Up until that point, he was the one who cared for Nakarai when he needed it mostāproviding him with shelter, support, and comfort in every way possible, except for intimacy. He even bought Nakarai a TV despite hating it himself, showing that he prioritized Nakaraiās happiness over his own.
The drastic shift in Fujisawaās behaviorāhis need for control and his forcefulnessāonly emerged in Episode 6, driven by his overwhelming jealousy toward Hagiwara.
That said, Fujisawa undeniably made mistakes, some of which are completely unjustifiable. However, those mistakes donāt erase the good he did for Nakarai, just as any good he might do in the future wonāt erase the fact that he forcefully crossed a line with him.
This series truly amazes me because it delves into the raw vulnerability and desperation that people can experience in relationships. It beautifully portrays the different kinds of bonds people find themselves in, sometimes without even realizing it. It also highlights the deep fear of losing someone theyāve grown attached toāso much so that they endure silent suffering until it eventually manifests in unintended ways.
Hagiwara never willingly chose to be in a platonic relationship with Kaori, and neither did she. While Kaori had her own reasons, they donāt justify the pain Hagiwara endured.
On the other hand, Nakaraiās circumstances, combined with Fujisawaās care, made him fall deeply in love. Over time, that love transcended friendship. Nakarai even confronted Fujisawa directly about what he truly wanted, but despite having similar feelingsāsomething that becomes evident in episode 6āFujisawa still denied him that love.
In a way, both Hagiwara and Nakarai were trapped in their own suffering, too scared to leave because of their deep attachment to their partners and friends. That unspoken pain inevitably found its outlet in the relationship between Nakarai and Hagiwara.
I like the character of Fujisawa, but not necessarily because he's roughāit's his obsession with Narikawa that fascinates me.
I've been trying to understand his mindset. He idolizes Narikawa to the extent that he sees their bond as something pure and sacred, so much so that he wonāt cross the line into intimacy, fearing it would taint their relationship. Yet, when he learns about Narikawa's involvement with Hagiwara, his obsession turns into overwhelming jealousy, driving him to hurt the very person he cherishes the most.
How do the japanese BLs give the strongest of "FEELS" every single fuc*ing time?! I HATE cheating but in this story, I am highly doubtful of my hatred.
Ep-5, Oh My God... I have seen countless bl making out but that one gave me goosebumps! And Hagiwara, Gaaad.... I am in love with this man! He is the definition of "mad in love man". I sincerely salute the actor who has played that role. His obsession and desperation for Nakarai š« š«
