Thank you so much for giving this series the review that it deserves!! Had it not been for you, I would have dropped such a nice series because of the low overall rating.
And the award for the most irritating character of this series goes to "Wandee Laowatthana". Seriously, he has s*x with Yak, cares for Yak, spends time with Yak, organises candle light dinner with Yak but does not let Yak kiss. This has even made Yak confused and poor him is unsure of how to go about in their relationship.
And when all of this was not enough, Wandee went to see the red flag Dr. Ter at the exact time when he promised to meet Yak. He even had dinner with Ter.
Wandee's character is seriously getting under my skin now. I am ready to punch him for Yak at this moment.
This single episode is far bigger and better than so many BL series! The actual series was very good but this particular episode will forever be etched in my heart 🥹💝
This series really made me angry and sad with all the characters(needless to mention those are Ming and Tong) and the situations that arise but one thing I cannot deny is the acting and the story is really good!
After a long time, I have seen a thai drama which does not feel slow and in every episode, I feel like, "oh, did it end already? I really want to know what happens next."
Seriously, this series is an actual "drama" 😂 Nothing happens normally or smoothly and I AM LOVING IT 🤭🤭🤭
When Ming understands everything, do you honestly believe he will let Tong get away so easily? If Tong needed…
Ming was in "no way" responsible for Joe's death is a complete overstatement! Just because you have seen people changing careers overnight, does not mean everyone has the tendency to do the same, specially when they are passionate about their job, AND depressed and desperate at the same moment. Different persons behave differently in every situation.
Ming was a very valid reason to create that "situation" for Joe. Just think about it.
I seriously doubt your logic here!
To prove: "30 year old people behave differently and take different steps when pushed into similar situation and you cannot blame them for their actions JUST BECAUSE they are 30 year old. Sometimes the people who create that situation also has role to play"
Take an example. There is a 30 year old man Sam who is gay. He is living in a conservative society, which is homphobic. And because of all the hatred and discrimination, he commits suicide.
So, according to your logic, it was all Sam's fault and the society was not at all responsible for his death. Because you have seen so many gays not committing suicide, even after so much of discrimination and bullying.
When Ming understands everything, do you honestly believe he will let Tong get away so easily? If Tong needed…
Look, I agree to a certain point that Joe is gullible but that does not make me say that Ming was a good person or that it was not his fault.
Seriously, you keep saying that it was Joe's choice that he died but what about that he could never continue the job that he liked, because a certain someone tied him in shackles. That was not Joe's choice, was it??
Tong tried to destroy Joe's career and Ming became the "in person" reason for the same, who actually acted upon it!
I watched the first five episodes of the series. I haven't read the books, and I don't feel like it considering…
I really don't think you are feeling/understanding what Joe went through and why he did that. Just think, Joe already lost his family while he was young. He had been acting as a stand-in pretty much all his life. He fell in love with a person, who was not actually in love but attracted just because he was a stand-in of his fuc**ing crush.
So, 1. he had no parents 2. got to know that he was just a stand-in for his lover 3. "BANNED" from a job that he had been doing all his life, was passionate about it and was good at it
And you think after all this, even a "30 year old man" cannot be desperate enough, and will be able to think straight???!
When Joe got to know that he was just a stand-in in real life too, he tried to dump Ming but Ming was adamant about keeping Joe with him. That also not as if he was in love but as if Joe was a property for him and belonged to him. And then he went as far as to destroy Joe's whole career, which Joe had built by himself.
No matter what Ming does now, I will never be able to ship him with Joe. And you really think, Joe "needs" Ming to take revenge on Tong. I think, at first he needs to take revenge on Ming. Tong wanted to destroy his career but Ming was the person, who actually made it possible!
And if Joe "needs" Ming for his revenge against Tong, then I really think that would be a very weak character development for Joe. It can't be any worse.
Yeah, but if Joe uses Ming to take revenge against Tong and then destroys Ming's life as well. That would be a very satisfactory ending for me.
These fu**ers are playing with my feelings at this point! 😭 Why?? The way Ming DESTROYED Joe's life, I started HATING him to the core of my heart. Then they killed Joe, which completely shattered me! Of course, Ming was one of the major reasons for that. So, my HATE towards him just aggravated.
And when that was not enough, they showed me that after 2 years, Ming is still waiting for Joe to show up, while cooking for him "every single day", trying to get a soft corner in my heart......
WHY?!!!! JUST WHY???!!!!!! I feel like crying! I don't know how to feel anymore!
Currently, I am on ep-5.
Also, in ep-7, I wanted Wandee to persuade Yoyak to be with him. That would have been more satisfactory to watch, than Yoyak going to Wandee.
And when all of this was not enough, Wandee went to see the red flag Dr. Ter at the exact time when he promised to meet Yak. He even had dinner with Ter.

It is really good though! Please watch it!!
Thank you so much for indulging in a conversation with me 😊❤️❤️

Does that even make sense. To me, NOT AT ALL!!

Neither the old one nor the new one Joe looks like Tong! HATE it, HATE it, HATE, it
I don't think I'll be able to accept Joe and Ming as a couple anymore! I really want Joe to take revenge on each character one by one.
