I started BL dramas in 2017. I must say, 2024 is like a golden year for any BL fan. So many 10/10 BL dramas in a single year from multiple countries, and that too when there are still 3 months left for it to end π₯Ή
Just completed ep-6. To all the people who are still deciding to watch, think no more; JUST WATCH IT!!
I really like it when the storyline is simple but so impact-fully presented! Just to explain you how I am currently feeling:
I HATE the scenes in which couple hold each other's hands and run together in slow-motion but I LOVED this exact scene in this series because of the context, the background story and knowing about the characters.
ok ive just finished this but i didnt quite understand the plot. can someone explain it to me? plz. (put the spoiler…
Ok but you asked for it. Stay with me while reading this cause it involves a bit of biology.
When a person is dying, their heart completely stops to beat at some point. This is called a cardiac arrest (different from a heart attack). This is obvious because a person cannot be dead while his heart is still beating.
In a cardiac arrest, the blood flow stops and blood is the thing that carries fresh oxygen to all the organs in the body. This means, in a cardiac arrest blood flow to the brain also stops. So, the brain is not getting any oxygen.
According to medicinal research, the brain can survive even without oxygen for an average of 4 minutes.
The series is made on these "4 minutes". According to the series, in these 4 minutes, when the heart has stopped but the brain is alive, the brain actually takes you to a specific moment in the past and makes you relive your whole life from there onwards, to rectify any mistake that you think you have made to wash off any guilt or regret. The preception of time works differently here. In real world, it is just 4 minutes but for the person dying, he is living a whole new life in those 4 minutes.
The first 5 episodes actually is just about Great living his 4 minutes when he undergoes a cardiac arrest in the hospital, in real world. He was admitted after getting shot by Tonkla. The 11 o'clock time that Great sees, is the time of the real world. He underwent a cardiact arrest at 11pm. As each minute passes in real world, he sees that time getting updated in his "4minutes" world.
As he says, "Initially the clock was stuck at 11:01. Now, it is stuck at 11:02". That is the real world time that he sees often in his 4minutes world.
Guys, if it goes downhill or uphill, it does not matter anymore. Do not reply to this comment and ruin it for me cause I am going to complete it anyways.
I will give anything to see their dating era!!! Please, please, please..... writers, directors. You cannot just end it the moment when they finally met!! "Unintentional love story" had them as side characters. I want to experience their dating era as them being the main characters πππππ
Contrary to some opinions, I am thoroughly satisfied with this BL series. I genuinely enjoyed it, especially the final episodes. The storyline may be simple, but it was deeply impactful. And the chemistryβoh, the chemistry!
Having watched countless BLs, I've grown somewhat immune to the feelings of intimacy they often evoke. Yet, this couple managed to make me feel like a newbie all over again.
For any BL enthusiast, this is definitely a must-watch from my perspective!
Yet another great episode (ep-9) by this series. How?? Just how are the creators able to pack everything so beautifully in a 20 min mini series?
The conversation between the chairman and Taichi just gave a phenomenal development to Taichi's character. I am literally in love with Taichi right now!!
And just as a token of respect to this series until now, I am changing my profile photo π
I'm so envious of people that get to watch this after it has finished airing. 25 minutes of this a week is killing…
SAME π I keep trying to save up the new episodes each week for a binge-watching session, but I end up giving in and watching them EVERY SINGLE TIME!
This series has been a masterpiece till now (ep-8)! The acting, the chemistry, the emotions, the dialogues, the dialogue delivery, the storyline, the direction, the background music/song, the atmosphere, the ambience of each scene... Everything fits in so perfectly that it melts my heart.
This is what I love in Japanese BL dramas. They give so much to each and every scene of the drama. It need not be a long episode but they are able to convey each and every emotion so smoothly and beautifully.
I really don't want to jinx the upcoming episodes but I just had to appreciate after watching ep-8!
Just finished ep-7. Oh my god! These cute little girls can sure play an evil role if they have to. I hate Shiraishi so much right now!!!! How can she insult my favourite character(Taichi) of one of my favourite series like this??!! ππ
This series is SERIOUSLY UNDERRATED! PLEASE WATCH IT!!!!
I got a 10/10 thai series after such a long time! The story! The chemistry! The love!! OMG, the LOVE that the characters have! My heart has just melted!
