Sorry I don't read the novel 😥 but the writer changed a lot of things in the drama. For example, BCF doesn't get manipulated, LC is really evil bcs she poisons SMZ, the rapist is unknown but BCF gets accused. Li Muge did great by directing the actors and capturing the scenery, but the writer couldn't write a better story and created a mess.

Yes I think SMZ will ask LC to tell WXS or YWX about him. Then after meeting him, SMZ dies. I just wish WXS will tell LC about DFJ and FYK. She needs to know the truth! Esp since DFJ died as a big brother 😭

Based on the novel, the secret passage SMZ used leads to Six Half Hall. LC saves him. That's why there's a scene where LC is waiting and there's a sound of stone door opening. however In the novel, LC poisons SMZ to use him, but he commits suicide later.

From the novel spoiler, LC saved SMZ from the secret passage. She had faith SMZ would use the passage that's why she was waiting. However in the novel, LC poisons SMZ to make him crazy, much like BCF in the drama, and use him to hurt his brothers. But seeing the remaining eps, I don't think there will be enough time for this plot.

I will rewatch his scenes just to see his little smirk and suave movements 😚 my best guy in this drama.

Somehow that siblings love feel more sincere than the three brothers 😅

It's sweet how LC tried to stop BCF from killing SMZ 👍🏻 she might have declared war to SMZ, saying she wants to torture him, but she doesn't. She still loves him that much. I'm curious what she will do in the last 2 eps.

Meanwhile BCF... there's no turning back. I know I shouldn't say this, but I pity him. I could see how lonely he actually is. BCF is such a complex character and I salute LYN for his acting 👏

Like she said in previous ep, when she faces danger, no one can help her except herself. To survive and protect the Hall, she's willing to bow her head to the devil. She has to be tough so no one can trample on her again. At least DFJ is always there for her and the only one noticed something awful happened to her. It was sad that she asked him to leave, but she knew if he stays, BCF might kill him. When she cried while looking at the fireworks, she's still the same girl who wishes to get married to the man she loves. When she cried in front of DFJ, she's still the same little sister who promised to protect her family.

Ever since I knew ZXY was from the House, I think she and SMZ are a good cp. Then we will get 3 pairings 😆 I actually hate my BaiChun cp became like this. It would've been better if BCF betrayed the House, then unite with LC to kill the chancellor, purely bcs he loves LC and wants to get revenge for what he did to BCF.

On the other hand, acting wise, I have to give applause to LYN and MZY. They nailed all those emotional scenes. BCF's eyes changed from puppy love to obsession. And even though he became evil, BCF is lonely and fragile. He has been living alone in the dark, that's why he needs light to bring out his best side. WXS was his hope, but he left. LC is his last hope, but it sank as well.

LC showed disbelief, despise, heartbreak, helpless, but determined. She declared war to SMZ, but she still loves him. I think she was planning to stay single as she can't get married to SMZ. She then warned BCF that he only own her by status. She even let go of DFJ to protect him and fight by herself for the Hall.

I watched The Truth on sunday. I must say the show doesn't appeal to me, maybe bcs it's really long, especially since the cast are not themselves and the eng sub is a mess. But I ROFL hard when LYN accidentally said "My name now is Liu Xiashui" 🤣🤣🤣 I kept repeating that part and still laughing. And how he blurted out "Should we hug now?" to MZY. MZY is also cute, she acted with sass.
