Rosalia Scarlet

Thank you for telling me 🤗

Duke Ying's mansion is extremely HUGE. It takes up half an alley. Song Mo is the future Duke Ying so he can't live in different manor. Song Mo lives in the east side yard, called Yizhitang (shown in ep 8?). They have to walk all the way to meet Duke Ying.

If you want actual historical drama, without too much romance, you must watch these dramas in this order:
For The Holy Guiguzi > The Qin Empire 1,2,3 > Qin Dynasty Epic > Legend of Chu and Han
If you are too lazy, just watch Legend of Chu and Han.

After his family rejected his wish to marry Dou Zhao he doesn't appear again until few last chapters. He still likes Dou Zhao, but he is already married with his own cousin. The drama might have different outcome for him. Tbh I'm scared 😭

The drama is missing a key character, so idk how will they make Song Han evil.

In the novel, Song Han has been evil since childhood bcos he accidentally knew the truth about his birth. His father has been poisoning Madam Jiang and Song Han helps giving the poison himself. When Song Mo finds out, his hatred to his father and didi reaches MAX. Moreover, both of them ally with Prince Qing and the empress to usurp the throne.

Idk how many will change though... but you can see how Madam Jiang's health keeps getting worse...

Which one?
Miao Ansu will marry Song Han.
Ji Yong only loves Dou Zhao and he doesn't marry anyone bcos he is simply not interested in women. In this lifetime, he will become an official, close to the crown prince, aspiring to be the prime minister. Well, he might become a monk. Dunno which one the drama will choose.
In the novel, Zhao Zhangru will marry a scholar, but seems like she will marry Chen Jia.

Meng Ziyi didn't act in Lost You Forever 😅

Duke Ding died due to schemes by the empress and Prince Qing. Wang Ge, the eunuch is their pawn as well.
I think the man with tattoo is Wang Ge, the eunuch too 🤔

Wetv and iqiyi.

The empress and Prince Qing want to usurp the throne. The emperor has been sick for years. The eunuch, Wang Ge is evil. Wang Yuan is Wang Ge's godfather.

I'm assuming it is Wang Ge based on a glimpse of his face. Wu Shan doesn't have tattoo. Also, in one clip, Wu Shan is seen tied, tortured and collapses.

My assumption: Song Mo was tortured and was saved by Dou Zhao and her people. But perhaps he is being delusional, he accidentally attacks Dou Zhao. There is a clip and poster of him kissing her forehead in this outfits.

Tbh the drama is different from the novel.
1. Dou Shishu, the fifth uncle is very good, both as a person and an official. He cares about his family and respects Dou Zhao and Song Mo as he sometimes help them.
2. Dou Zhao's relationship with his father is very good. They truly care and love e/o. He is devastated when Dou Zhao didn't marry Wei Tingyu, but he immediately arranged a marriage with Song Mo.
3. Dou family has a large number of members, mostly sons with only 3-4 daughters. Dou Zhao is very close to her male cousins and they often help her and Song Mo.

Nothing happens to Dou family except Wang Yingxue lost her favor since before Dou Zhao comes back to the capital to live with her father. They lock her in the backyard, then send her home to Wang family.

In the drama, since Dou Shishu is evil, he perhaps ends up in prison.

The drama is different from the novel. From the trailers and clips, he doesn't remember his past life. He only knows she was the person in his dream and the one whom he met in the story telling house.

Gu Yu!!! The actor playing Gu Yu is doing a great job! I was like "Yes that is Gu Yu!" 😆👍🏻
Dou Zhao, Song Mo, Ji Yong, Wu Shan, and now Gu Yu came straight from the novel.

If Wu Shan and Dou Zhao got married in the first lifetime, her life would be happy 😭

Perhaps people already know, but I want to share a bit about something.
In the drama you will notice the men have 2 names: birth name and courtesy name.
Courtesy name is an additional name bestowed upon individuals at adulthood, complementing their given name. It is a marker of adulthood and were historically given to men at the age of 20, and sometimes to women upon marriage.

Song Mo, courtesy name: Yan Tang.
Ji Yong, courtesy name: Ji Jianming.
Wu Shan, courtesy name: De Zhen.
And so on.

Gu Yu made an appearance!!! Yeah!! I was disappointed when I didn't see his name or Jiang Yan in the official announcement, but here he comes!
Gu Yu is the grandson on Earl Yunyang. Nephew of Queen Wan, cousin of Prince Qing. Famous for being the little bully. Rebellious, arrogant, rude, impulsive, bad manner, and he looks down on people. Song Mo's only friend. His loyalty lies with Song Mo and will listen to anything he says.

Wu Shan my boy. I'm glad they didn't change his character. Still gentle like a jade, clear like a glass bead, polite, humble, innocent.

In the novel:
Wang Yinxue, Dou Ming, Prince Qing, Queen Wan, Song Yichun (ML's father), Song Han (ML's didi), Wang Ge (eunuch Wang, on ep 1). Wei family is also annoying to the bones, but they are not villains.

After his family rejected his request to marry Dou Zhao, he doesn't show up again until near the end. At that time he is already married to his own cousin. He still has feelings for Dou Zhao though. And even though they had no contact ever since, Dou Zhao has always thinks of him as a good person. Song Mo is a bit jealous though, and secretly investigated him 😅
