i saw the message as showing how the mainstream Christian doctrine harms the LGBT people within it. it's not at all saying that this is right or good (see the bible study scene), it's showing what it feels like to be gay and in the church--and i think they did an excellent job

can someone explain to me what Sam's company actually is? I just finished episode 1, and maybe I missed it, but I am so confused on what the company does. Is it some sort of content-creating company, if that even makes sense? Right now, it just looks like Sam has a lot of ambition and dedication to this company that is just an empty shell of a plot device.

Have the subtitles improved? I watched episodes 1 and 2 but getting through them was... an ordeal.
I don't have a problem with the english subtitles now, sometimes they are really bad when Iqiyi first uploads an episode (of any show), but they usually get fixed within a few days. I haven't noticed any issues recently, and I watch the episodes basically right when they are uploaded
