very unfortunate
the storyline is interesting but the acting is kind of bland, the whole execution feels flat and they have zero chemistry between them( very much prefer them to be sibling ) also the need to lie with this plot just does not make sense to me i feel like it is just dumb .
Wang Zi Qi acting is good not spectacular, i think he just stay in his comfort zone a bit too much and would like to see him branch out and try different expression otherwise all his dramas will seems a bit like a copy past of the same person.
As for Lu Yu Xiao, her acting is definitely better than some other female actress but she has a lot room to grow especially in term of expression and delivery. i have a hard time believing her as the main lead in these period drama, she lack the demeanor and presence to make me believe her as the main character which is the same issue i had with her in perfect match. In contrast to when she was in Blossom in adversity where her acting truly shined as a supporting character. i hope than she gets better in the future
