Disapointing storytelling with great Acting
WLGT is written well, the story at it's core is very poignant and teahes us many lessons, the actors did a great job however i was disapppointed with how the story folded out. I really liked how they showed us how Ae-sun lived her life and the sacrifices they both made but i feel like there was a disconnect between IU as Ae-sun and in the present. Her present story felt very incomplete, diconnected and rushed, i would 've loved seen her relationships, career, more fleshed out especially as she was playing both characters yet not it made lose appreciation for the earlier episode and constatntly pulled me out of the story. i really wish they would have let Bo-gum play a bit in the present timeline to show them growing older then switch to the new person that would've tie the story better or even settle for the mom telling her story through present IU eyes while living her life. Overall, i was disapointed but it is great story nonetheless.Was this review helpful to you?
a strong FML and a male lead who knows how to act his part
The double is a great demonstration of a revenge drama with a back story that make sense.Not a perfect drama but nothing rarely is ...
The chemistry was crazy in this one, i was giggling and kicking my feet with the way they both acted towards each other. this was 100% my type of drama and romance, i could feel their love together through the screen, the way they look out for each other, the expression in their eyes and body language ugh it was so sensual I loved it .
Also can we talk about how Wang Xingyue alway delivers, that's my man!!!

Less than 12 episode is actually okey
The story and acting needed more substance, it felt very choppy and dragged on. the plot was simple but it was going in circle over and over and i totally understand that it is a time travel show but it need to make sense and things need to actually happen. It would've been great if it was a 8 to 10 episode drama and focus on the storytelling because sometimes less is all you needWas this review helpful to you?
Adults also have hobbies
this was overall a good show, i really enjoyed the fact that they showed an adult who has hobbies and just want to decompress after a long day. The acting was also not bad however, they should have just remained friends and also developed the story better. there was multiple arcs and it ended up falling flat especially near the endWas this review helpful to you?
An example of an okey drama
Everything was just okey for me, the acting, story, production. i actually liked the second lead story better in term of the relationship, chemistry and romance. i couldn't feel the chemistry in the main couple, they were more like friends to me and jung-woo made the story more fun for me.Also, it's crazy that Park Bo-young wanted to make a melo movie and in real life alsmost all her shows fall in the melo genre to me

Chaotic and fun comedy
this was fun, very reminiscent of 2016 drama. the acting was good , the comedy was not doing too much but i do wish the lather episode was fleshed out more. The ending fell flat for me as it felt rushed , they needed more time to explore their relationship when everything was out in the open but it suddenly just was tied it conveniently and we just needed to accept it.Was this review helpful to you?
New and refreshing concept
i love a good medical drama, the bond with the interns and specialist was nice, you could see how passionate they are and the second couple cracked me up. although it dragged towards the end i appreciated how responsible and mature the main lead were in certain situations, i loved that they showed the surgeries and educated us in the more complex cases.Was this review helpful to you?
A RANT
This is a 3 am rant after trying to continue this for the past 3 days but i decided for my sanity i need to give up.There is so much i want to say but i don't have the energy for it and the more i think of this shows the more irritated i get but First why the heck is a basic romance drama wit no subplot has 36 episode??? CRIMINAL
Second, why is the main lead is so pathetic i am so glad the other guy is ignoring him, i would've thrown you outside and lock the door because why are you all up in my business go ask your father those stupid unnecessary question.
I understand this is sudden but you knew about it days before and did not have the simple ability to use your head to get prepared and also think that your that your father would double check and confirms the truth. Plus he is throwing up a tantrum nearly every freaking episode like jeez you are over 30 stop whining the other person is just also had life altering news.
There is truly no reason to be doing all that plus all your mom do is cause chaos. It was funny the first few episode as i believe there is something deeper going on from the way she is acting( loneliness, having emotional support, her son future in regard to how the outside world view them) but still after 18 episode i expect character development wether in a good or bad way which we have nothing so far.
The drama lack depth and a sense of were it wants to go. A lot of important things happened and got resolved in the first 8-10 episode that i feel like they are just dragging it on when everything could've wrapped up in 12 -14 Pp max. i also have a gripe with the main lead acting, he does not show much range and every drama that he is in fells like the same expression .
I truly wish the main couple would not ended up together but sadly this is a romance and Tae-joon please do not forgive and be with hye-ji you deserve so much better.
Anyway, i am going to stop now because this is getting longer that i thought. If you finished the drama please spoil the ending for me thank you

A drama to remember
Flourished Peony is a story about friendship, love, trust , betrayal and happiness.A male lead that know a woman’s worth and actually listen SIGHN ME UP. I cannot wait S2, this was so good, their friendship was truly wonderful and this was one of the best fml and ML relationship i have seen in a while. I could care less about them being together just give me more of them.

One of the best joseon period ending drama
i kept taking brakes while watching this, it was problem the longest i ever took to finnish a drama which suprised me because this is my type of show i usually would binge the heck out it but something was not working out for me. Anyway, i managed to finish it today and grew to like it more, probably due to the fact that the ending was one the best satisfying one out of all the joseon period drama i watched in years which is a rare thing in kdrama as they also leave me pissed of and unsatisfied. For once the villains got punished right rather than just them taking the easy way out and the good people also found happiness and acceptance along the way.Was this review helpful to you?
very unfortunate
the storyline is interesting but the acting is kind of bland, the whole execution feels flat and they have zero chemistry between them( very much prefer them to be sibling ) also the need to lie with this plot just does not make sense to me i feel like it is just dumb .Wang Zi Qi acting is good not spectacular, i think he just stay in his comfort zone a bit too much and would like to see him branch out and try different expression otherwise all his dramas will seems a bit like a copy past of the same person.
As for Lu Yu Xiao, her acting is definitely better than some other female actress but she has a lot room to grow especially in term of expression and delivery. i have a hard time believing her as the main lead in these period drama, she lack the demeanor and presence to make me believe her as the main character which is the same issue i had with her in perfect match. In contrast to when she was in Blossom in adversity where her acting truly shined as a supporting character. i hope than she gets better in the future

AN AWFUL ATTEMPT AT COSPLAY
you can tell from the beginning if the people involved in a drama care about their craft .I truly dislike when the actors are playing a different gender role yet you can clearly see that it is a disguise from a mile way. Like how am i supposed to believe you when the most important thing in the story is badly executed. Also there was plot hole from the beginning and i can tell it will continue to be the same throughout and that will piss me off more

A nightmare
I badly wanted to continue watching but it just doesn’t work for me, the acting of the ML is okey so far , colors looks nice but i just cannot with the fl voice, the infantilization of her character, her acting and what should be an abomination is her voice or the tone she is using. Terrible acting and Directing
I don't like rating dramas that i dropped before 30-50% but this was god awful and i give it a -10. between and the glory(C-drama) i don't know which is worse. The acting is bad , the chemistry is awful, the male lead looks so uncomfortably constipated and the Female lead does not make it better. It seems like they are reading their lines from a prompter and someone is telling them how to act. A waste of a good story
The premise of the story is about a female GOD who due to some collusion lost her powers and vanished somewhere during the fight and an immortal GOD who in turn is living in a village on earth as a mortal but with issues like him being sick...I was interested because the description and the poster looked beautiful however the story became stale very quick. There was nothing intriguing to keep the viewers guessing since from ep 1 the main lead figured out who she was and they were saving people already which i felt was too soon as we did not even have any backround information on the characters. During the day it was nothing going on albeit there was some funny part here and there but it was very repetitive.
Also in my opinion, the actor of choice does not match what is needed for the story, he lacked the mannerism and built for me. As a God he seemed very very frail to the point that if the wind blows a bit he would be knocked off. Now i understand he is sick but i think for a supposed GOD even in low point they have some type of presence that you can feel/tell by their expression , how they talk and carry themselves which he had none. The color grading is way too strong, the CGI is awful in certain part and the way that chicken looks is going to give nightmares for days
