The plot is relatively low stakes for now and it is not as goofy as some people may want, so it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but can i say this is the perfect drama to curl up and watch during cold weather to make you feel fuzzy π
I was in a makjang mood and this is what i wanted exactly, dramatic and overbearing people, everyone is related or has something to do with each other, people arent thinking logically...its everything i could have asked for lmaoo π€£
The issue with shows like this is that theyβre always marketed as championing female independence, but when…
lol, her managing to do anything worthwhile by herself with no backing would be peak of unseriousness, her status is not big enough to be able to achieve anything she wants to right now
Does anyone have any *good* recommendations for chinese dramas with this genre that arent 'I am Nobody' and the DMBJ/Lost Tomb series because ive watched those
if sexual predators and rapists can still have a career regardless, why the hell cant she come back, idc if its a shitty drama she needs to come back, it would be a waste of talent.
Bang average drama that i enjoyed solely for the amazing chemistry of the leads. Did not care one bit about the second leads so it was unfortunate that the last few episodes centred around them way too much, i was basically skipping entire episodes.
This has to be one of the most natural and easy chemistry ive seen Dilireba have with a ML, honestly its the only remarkable thing about this drama.
ive been putting this off for literal years because everyone kept begging for a season 2 and i finally caved and now im part of the people begging ππ
i get drawn to 'annoying/bitchy' kdrama women for some reason π so i had always stuck with na hee through and through but her development was nice to see.
I don't know how to really word this, but i don't often watch saeguks, but most of the ones i have watched and seen clips of floating around always seem like they have been shot in the same place (probably due to cost effectiveness etc) but this one feels so different, it has different landscapes and areas that look so beautiful (i'm a sucker for set designs and pretty locations haha) and its one of the things that i really love about this drama. Also does anyone else know of any saeguk that also has varied locations/ sets? regardless of how good it is i just need to feast my eyes with some pretty scenery
Started off liking the middle couple and not feeling the eldest couple and ended up liking the oldest and youngest couple even though their long separation kind of affected the experience, i lived for the youngest brothers growth though so thats what made me endeared i gues haha
Hate how every comment here is either glazing the OG (which is fine, we get it, you and the other thousand comments have said the OG is better) or nit-picking on dumb stuff lmao.
Like where is the speculation for what'll happen next omgg you guys are such funnn suckerssss
Anyways, im hoping for dal and haejun to get together, he speaks to her so softly its so cuteeee i need him to fall in love with her nowwwww
One scenario i was thinking about is how his mom allegedly 'killed someone', i actually cant remember how this went down in the OG and im not gonna check, so what if attorney dal could help to clear her name, thus making haejun see her as more than his little sisters friend ππ is anyone on the same level of delulu as me? lmao
I feel that sanha's development will occur during his relationship with juwon changing from friends to lovers. As Juwons mind is changing to see him in that light it may make him aware of his nature to be overbearing and kinda harsh lol. Even though its clearly his saviour complex from the fact that he couldn't save his first sister.
Haejun for me is the most well written, and his actor does a great job too, ive been rooting for him since hospital playlist so im happy he's killing it here. The scene when dal was drunk towards the later part of episode 10 made me squeal because he was looking at her so fondly i was like just get together already!!!! This aspect is my favourite change from the cdrama, i hope they become endgame.
All in all im excited for their adult era and im hoping the writers make the transition in relationship between sanha and juwon as smooth as possible (but also as realistic too) because that was a part i absolutely hated in the cdrama, they had been family for so long and the drama did such a great job in the family dynamics the shift in their relationship left a bad taste in my mouth.
I'm not even going to lie this was one of the most entertaining dramas released this year for me, i still have some complaints e.g. the swift killing of satan and the pacing of some one or two episodes, but overall the experience of it supersedes any complaints i could have honestly.
I am a romance girl at heart who loves a bit of action so this was almost like perfectly crafted for me lmao. I'll miss justitia and her team + the tenants of the apartments and han daon.
PSH, i cant even lie i was a doubter when the cast was released, but you truly made me eat my words, Well done. And to the rest of the fantastic cast, even the villains, well done to them as well.
If they remove the love triangle that was in the cdrama or at least give haejun his own love story instead of leaving him with no one i would be so happy
*please note the use of hag was for satirical purposes i don't actually believe you start decaying after 30.
