While I am slightly biased towards these 100+ episode melodramas and enjoy them even when they tend to be super cringe worthy. This drama so far is really enjoyable and well put together (for a daily melodrama). Out of all the daily melodrama's I've watched, I think this is the third show where I am actually excited to watch the next episode. The episodes also go fairly fast being only 28-30 minutes an episode. However the fact I still have another 102 episodes to go, could easily change how I feel about the series. It's very easy for them to become redundant/repetitive, so have my fingers crossed that doesn't happen here.
In regards to the relationships between the characters/couples. I can't really suggest much because the first 20 episodes start to mesh the storyline together or at least it's putting the outer wall of a jigsaw puzzle up. Creating that foundation, learning the characters and who they are. Makes me curious who the female lead will end up liking though as there is potential for several guys to find the keys to her heart.
it would be great if you could make the subtitles as I can't find any in other site.
I grabbed the first 5 episodes and have my script running now. My GPU generates the subtitles very fast but I then spend some time using FFPROBE to "beautify" the subtitles. Then have to use FFMPEG to generate the video. Making the subtitles is actually the easiest part, it's the last two steps which take the longest to do as I am doing this by myself but I should have 3-5 episodes finished by tonight for you.
I was going to make subtitles for this movie because the drama sites have it marked as RAW but after making subtitles and reviewing them before hardcoding. I noticed the movie does indeed have subtitles already. Looks like the subtitles were auto translated using image to text which isn't bad.
Gave the movie a 6.5 - Nothing amazing but not terrible. Only reason why I didn't rate it lower is because I enjoy movies that show more realism vs. hollywood fake life. Real life is tough & back breaking for most people struggling to get things done. This movie does a decent job showing that perspective.
That's not hacking. It's poor password controls. An ex-girlfriend or boyfriend of anyone at tvn could have done…
Yeah, it's sad how the word 'hack' has almost de-evolved. I was always a fan of Kevin Mitnick and social engineering but yet this style of information gathering is considered 'hacking' by corporate media.
I forgot I made subs for this a few months ago but that was when my script wasn't as good. Here is a better version: https://dai.ly/k5kkuMkUr68785B77aU
Thanks for the alert! I have such a long list of things to make subs for but if people alert me. I then bump stuff to the top of my list. Will make these subs tonight.
It's interesting how Hong Kong was the spearhead of dramas but now they're at the tailend. They no longer get the deserved attention they once used to get.
If you're not used to HK/Taiwan dramas, then this might not be something of your liking. Overall it's probably a 7.3 rating but I gave it a 7.5 on MDL because I liked the plotline. I liked the realism of how hard it is for someone to become straight, not getting into trouble when they are released from a long prison sentence. It's very hard to adapt to society without easily resorting to your old methods.
Randomly found this drama while searching for the 70's French Film 'Red Balloon'.
Only on Episode 5 right now and the one thing I don't understand is why the Female Lead is so obsessed with her rich friend's lifestyle. It's not like she was the evil rich girl in High School, so now the poor female lead is out to take revenge. Unless I wasn't paying attention, it seems like the Female Lead is just a psychopath. Everything she chose in her life, was her own choice(s).
Side note, the sister in this series is the best part of the show. I would of dropped the show if it wasn't for her younger sister and the sisters 'side story'.
I was on vacation and stuck with little to no internet, so found this series for free on YouTube to get my drama fix in. Had no clue this was a "remake" of the Condor Heroes (novels). I am currently on episode 19 and truly enjoying the series thus far. Each hero/character within the series has their own unique personalities and offers so much to the table for a very thick plotline. Making you crave for more.
My favorite hero in the series was the leader of the Beggars gang but once Zhou Botong started to do his "yooooo-hooooo" chants after he talks. He just cracks me up. Excited to see that they have a long list of new series dedicated to the novels. With a bunch of side story drama's diving into other characters pasts. I think this new adaptation of the Condor Heroes universe will be a solid one.
On episode 25 and so many love triangles, it’s dizzying. Also are Koreans as toxic as they are portrayed??2nd…
Hollywood is fake. That's like asking if all white people are racist, all black people are thugs, all hispanics are drug dealers, etc. because that's how they're portrayed on TV.
I've been coding a Mandarin/Chinese script for two weeks now but very annoying to get it accurate. A friend asked me to sub this series since she thinks my subs are better than IQ's.
