A trip from China to Korea!
finished 9/10 πbased on the 2020 cdrama go ahead... for me personally I liked this version better... they made necessary changes and some things were kept as the original version
I think the mothers' plot was well addressed, the romance theme as well, it didn't make me feel as cringe as in the other plot, which I appreciated π
The main characters did seem cute to me and I felt a lot of chemistry between them... the supporting characters won my heart. I wanted a happy ending for that particular brother so badly and Korea far surpassed it π
I still think that the parents' "marriage and love" is something that is completely out of nowhere and poorly thought out in many ways, but the important thing is that everyone was happy and a great family β€οΈ

A family towards healing and reconciliation
finished 8.5/10 πβ¨A drama focused on family and healing... overall there were things I liked and things I didn't like so much.
Mirae was my favorite character, I identified a lot with her because I have also gone through the same thing of taking care of and taking care of my family.
Her romance with Tae Pyeong was another thing that I also liked... a couple nothing problematic with a very good chemistry π€
The mystery plot surrounding the dad and how he earned the money bored me a lot.
Also the character of the father at first seemed super heavy to me and with a huge ego.
It kind of got better in the end and I liked that everyone stayed as a family and the parents weren't forced to get back into a relationship.π

from gangster to high school student!
finished 9.5/10 πβ¨one of the surprises of this 2024
I didn't think I would like it so much... a well-made, simple story
love the young cast and the rest of the actors
8 chapters well summarized without extra scenes or filler, which I greatly appreciated.
The ending was bittersweet but very realistic... I honestly have nothing to change
without a doubt one of my big favorites this year!
I hope that all these actors have more projects in the future because they are the new generation of replacement.

a love marked by destiny and mistrust ?
finished 9/10 βI think the drama was interesting overall. The highlight for me was the main couple and their excellent chemistry π₯
They both had a super explosive and tense enemies-to-lovers process π
I also liked both characters individually.
I thought Mingyi was a very brave person, whose life was destined since she was a child and she was never given the chance to be happy or make decisions for herself.
She deserved her own happiness. She managed to find it with Jibozai.
Jibozai had an incredible growth, he had a difficult past and he had to fight to find him own path.
Although revenge was him main priority and his relationship with Mingyi began with deception.
When he decided to be happy without secrets or lies, it was super cool.
I liked most of the cast and also the special effects.
The OST was also very nice.
I think the only thing I didn't like, and maybe I'm weird because many loved it, was the secondary couple. They didn't manage to captivate me. I watched their scenes in x2 because of how boring they are.
The ending was better than I imagined and I I liked that out of love, both Jibozai and Mingyi didn't change their ultimate goals, which were to defend their respective kingdoms.
100% recommended drama π

Three scammers seeking revenge for money
finished 7.5/10 πPros:
I liked the scams; they were entertaining, and each guest actor did an incredible job.
Park Ming-young: I liked seeing her in this role. She was the symbol of an anti-hero. She helped others, but always for her own benefit. π€
I think it was good for her to break away from the mold a bit, and despite everything, I found it entertaining.
Cons:
I think there were some script flaws, and the "people who helped" had empty moments within the story. I couldn't connect with that. Toward the end, I think they added too much filler. I would have liked more episodes to develop other aspects of Yirang's childhood. I felt his revenge was too superficial, and I didn't really understand his obsession.
An ending that's open to a second season. Honestly, I don't know if they'll do it because of the low ratings. Still, if they do, I'll give it a chance. π

the romantic comedy of 2024!
finished 10/10 β¨the romantic comedy that I didn't know I needed but that I have loved from the beginning... a simple story, full of laughter, with unique satire and memorable scenes
What stands out the most is its script management, nothing elaborate... 10 chapters that summarize the plot very well and avoid unnecessary fillers
I loved the couple, their chemistry was very good β¨
I recommend this kdrama if you want to see something light and that helps you get out of the block π

a legal lawyer whose clients are ghosts ?
finished 8.5/10 πA drama that I think deserves more recognition.
A lawyer who sees ghosts and gets justice for those betrayed by the korean labor system.
Overall I really liked it, an excellent combination of comedy and drama... I think Kyung-ho is an excellent actor, especially in hilarious comedy.
The role fit him like a glove, and his chemistry with Seol-in-ah and Cha-hak-yeon was a huge 10/10 for me.
I also liked the stories of the different victims that Mujin helped.
I think perhaps a big problem the drama had for me was the excessive cutting of chapters.
I feel that a plot as general and broad as this one deserved its full 16 chapters
The ending was open to personal interpretation, there were things I would have liked that they had more depth like the reconciliation of Mujin and his wife, I felt that scene was super random or the fact that it seems like I will continue seeing ghosts?
But it's a kdrama that you enjoy and I recommend checking it out β¨

wasted potential
finished 7/10 β¨This K-drama had all the makings of one of the best of the year, but it ended up being a bit of a letdown. ENA, as a television channel, has a habit of producing stories that start well but then take nonsensical plot twists. First of all, the main plot got lost amidst so many subplots, and some scenes and situations were resolved in the most absurd way possible. The romance lacked coherent development, the villains' ending was incredibly lukewarm, and the finale left more questions than answers. If I can find anything positive about the project, it would be the acting of the lead and the villain, which, for me, were the highlights. The rest was unremarkable.

A story of slavery and liberation in the Joseon era
finished 9/10 π«Pros: For me, Rowoon's best drama to date... It showed a side of himself he'd wanted to portray for a long time, perhaps criticized for eliminating his physical beauty to make way for a character destroyed by life and slavery, I thank the director for taking the initiative to portray it in a different way than we were used to π
Rowoon's acting was phenomenal, he worked hard on his action scenes and on showing Siyul's pain and suffering π₯
The scenery and costumes were very appropriate for the period. I liked the setting and the soundtrack.
The cast also did an incredible job. They all gave super outstanding performances π
Cons:
I think The Murky Stream fell into the Disney curse of cutting chapters to the point that the story felt rushed and open endings that let your imagination run wild
Based on the historical arguments of the time, I want to assume that A war began that would mark the change of Joseon as a nation and each character had to find ways to survive.
Even though I know it's realistic, I can't help but feel a bittersweet taste, in my heart I wanted a more appropriate ending π
Aside from that, I think it's a great drama with a fundamental historical message and I recommend it 100%.

A journey into martial arts and poisonous potions
finished 9/10 πI DEMAND MY SECOND SEASON HOW ARE THEY GOING TO LEAVE THAT ENDING LIKE THAT?! π
apart from that...
I must say that in general it has become one of my favorite historical dramas π
it has been my favorite so far... It has been so far my favorite characters of Esther Yu and Zhang Linghe π
On top of that, their chemistry was 10/10 π₯
I liked the script even though it had its boring parts
The fight scenes were my favorites, I loved the entire visual effect of the drama from its direction, photography to the costumes, which I must say are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
I thought I would like the supporting characters from the edits I had seen but they were super meh for me
I liked his character on an individual level but I had a hard time connecting with her
her ending was also super open but if I'm honest I cared very little
Although it took me a while to watch it because of my lack of time, I really enjoyed the story

a peculiar study group
finished 9.5/10 πi admit that watching this drama was not in my plans but thank goodness I gave it a chance
It was one of the best things that came out this January 2025... A story full of action, comedy, special effects, all with the power of a comic π₯
I'm not a big fan of student dramas as long as they have unique variables
Study Group proved not to be the typical drama of bullies and fights... For me, it has a unique way of narrating and its scenes make you feel like you are really in the webtoon, which I loved π«Ά
I loved the whole cast (even the villains)
I feel like everyone did a great job π
The ending was closed in some plots but at the same time I feel that they left us a small hint of a second season ?
Whether we get it or not, let me say that I'm going to miss this story a lot π

medical suspense!
finished 7.5/10 β¨This drama had everything to be one of the best but in the end the story fell a lot, the first half based on the story of the patients was good but then when they focused on the plot of the murder, the whole script fell apart, even the motives of the "murderer" seemed absurd to me... the ending was super weak, I only have to highlight Lee Minki's performance, which is always in these genres suspense suits him well, han ji hyun also did a very good job with what he could but honestly I don't recommend this drama at all π€·Was this review helpful to you?
a story of research, marriage and love!
finished 8.5/10 β¨πan adorable and soft leading couple, I loved the characters both individually and as a whole, great scenery and music... there was, in my opinion, a somewhat mediocre handling of the script, a filler of 10 chapters and the last two with a plot that was too fast... this particular drama had editing problems, some scenes were cut and others were superimposed in a strange way but it is left see... pure taboo the age gap of the protagonists and their kisses, I personally liked them and I didn't see anything wrong, As for the supporting cast, there were a couple of characters that stressed me out a lot and I admit that I skipped their scenes.
Still, despite everything, I highly recommend it π

a very sweet gangster story
finished 9/10 πβ¨In general, I found the story very cute, a breath of fresh air and a rum in its own right.
I love almost all the characters π
the main couple is one of the cutest i've ever seen, taegoo is the new unlocked oppa, the cutest gangster in love ever π
the secondary couple, explosive and full of chemistry, their ending was beautiful especially for the character of Il Young who became a father and was able to have the family he always wanted π
The ending was a bit rushed and I wanted them to explain some details but overall very good!

action packed melodrama!
finished 8.5/10 πβ¨In general the story was good, a classic melodrama full of intrigue and suspense
The majority of the cast did a great job, Rain's performance stood out πβ¨
The action role looks amazing on him... Haneul also did a good job for me although she was criticized for being stoic and cold... I personally feel like her character was designed to be that way.
The ost was very good and the scenery was not bad.
The ending was realistic, which I liked. It removed a couple of scenes that could have been written differently, but everything together gave a good closure.
