-but I disagree on point you mentioned about her "not having any skills" or the way everyone is comparing her to other versions just because they didn't show her win some competition , yes it was good the way they showed how each HYD FL leads had goals

-first the show didn't end yet maybe they will address this in final ep where they show gorya talking about her dream and future..they already highlight that she is very talented athlete that why she got schoolership in such prestigious school desipt her statu nd they give us hint that she like basketball .. also her being with thym which we know would be business man

She is Still simple young high school girl ..she have Time to discover more about herself first ..to work on herself to learn..to enjoying her life along with study then finding goal in process ..I mean there are a lots of adult in real life who Still had difficulties to found there goals and what they want ..so imagine teen girl of 16 year that had seen her life changed with a lots of up and down in that school (bully/violence) her hate to love journey with thyme which was and still challenging (full of many emotions) she got in F4 world (rich class and capitalism world) .. without mentioning her own family situation (part -time jobs)

-most important the viewer should had understand
by now that this version had lonly episodes 16 nd I heard it channel who decided and impose limited number of eps ..the original material (manga) had a lots of arcs.plots characters stories which pH teams of each versions decided to choose some of them
that they judged important to put them in Thiers manner
unfortunately in this Thai version
They don't have over 25 EPs / 2 seasons+movie. Or. 50 episodes like Chinese one which would allow them to include more details. They have condensed the fillers ,. This ver also is not perfect can be criticised ...but I think with all this the wirters and pH here still manage to do great job and succesd where some ver didn't (at least for me)

I enjoyed reading your thread about introduction of sexual tension/désir in episode whatever about gorya thyme or kavin -kaning ...also l liked the way you described kavin behaviour " in psychology this is called projection. You‘ve got it bad"

I can understand your point gorya is not at that stage of expressing her love with romantic gesture . But even if not real kiss (lips) some good lovely hug or forehead kiss ..hand touche are ok ..I mean they already had Thier moments in initial phase of Thier story.. like scene in storm in ep05 ..the hug in ep07..so I don't see the problem for showing scene like this now
-also l had thought about (minor/major) thing but if pH team had problem with That,.then they wouldn't show such scene with kaning -kavin (car one) I know it whole different story/character direction about this two . and maybe they didn't even kiss but .it was still
suddenly romantic/sexul tension ,so I don't
think it case of having problem age gap...

For my first impression of episode 12 it was ok for me ..I just think that the comedy wasn't that fun or cute but rather bit forced and off ,the delivery,editing execution of some scenes was messy

-the closure of Lita arc was great especially the scene where she call off her engagement with flashback it tell us that even she is not mean to end up with him as couple but her experience with thyme made her discover what is love and how much it matter that's why even if she had idea that something was going on between thyme gorya that thyme is not in love with her romantically she still didn't want to give up she did anything in many ways in process she felt happiness , Hurt and betray ..but at the end she found herself more stronger , liked the way she stood up for herself and speak to her parents (that always planned everything in her life ) her wish then that hug with her dad ..actress did amazing job but I think it could have been more short

-today kavin -kaning scenes are for sure my favourite from whole episode the first one when he was teaching her about flowers speaking about love and mentioning soulmate reference the whole vib from Thier gaze .. eye's look gesture was so romantic and melancholic slow burn .. while the second one was opposite just boom like flame .. scary smooth nd full of emotions .tension. he did give kaning heart attack just the same way he stopped car , I feel he clearly know she is falling in love seriously with him and him also started to feel something but his ex(Mona) entry made him panick .. remembering his past experience so before kaning say or confesses anything. He immediately wanted to take control ...he wanted to scary her ..and to make her run away (he know she is naive when it come to relationships..skin ship ,kiss ,sexul désir while he is opposite ).it just showed one of kavin dangerous side when he is Hurt , angry ...in proccesse kaning will be also hurt but also learn and grow...I m curious the way this two will end in this version ..

-I m not sure if I'm only one to have this impression but since second half Of show esp since ep 10 feel sometimes the writing style and phase are not same between each EPs it feel it Not from same writers ..it might be because of all revisions that they did to the script so it end up like this

-about thyme and gorya there scene of today EPs were just ok for me ..I m not someone who dislike maid arc but for me they could have way done better job. ..the balcony night scene was lovely. Then Thier last necklace scene gorya having feeling of belonging to thyme nd thyme joy to finally win her heart .it was heartwarming and beautiful from Thier gaze to eyes looks . ♥️👏To bright and Tu chemistry .even though for me this version was never about romance .but I m from those fans who were disappointed today they could clearly give thyme gorya kiss even if it not on lips.. something like Forehead kiss or good intimate
hug. I don't think any slow build up is needed now they already had some moments before all this (ep 05 ,07..) ..they just ruined whole mood by again Turing this to comedy .it clearly now that there are doing this on
purposes. Only them know why ...

-about thyme keeping that shirt of EP1 when gorya kicked him with her foot wearing the shoes that he initially ruined. The shoes had like flower /Star ✴️ symbol in it. And EP1 title was "footprint of meteor" it said a lot about impact and impression that she left on him that day ..

-ren why he is geeting more precious those recent EPs ...ren X gorya friendship and platonic soulmate relationship is chef kiss 😘😘 one of my fav out of all version...

Wawo👏👏♥️ this one of best written post in this whole comment section ..you have done amazing job to say what I think maybe this episode wanted to convey..whatever viewer can agree or disagree with it..but no can deny the effort of direction/writing in this episode

-also I think it important that your Thai fan since you maybe can understand / relate more to some things regarding the corruption/injustice that Thailand face .(like many other countries do also.. unfortunately )so you might see some details symbolisms that international fans can't see

- but when it come to Lita I think she not just empress chosen by queen mother of thyme . ..she is also empress who the emperor thyme had giving hope to love and said to her he will not let anyone get hurt because of love ..so right now him and his only love gorya (future empress)are in trouble

-i know (I think lots of us also do ) that this for sure not most satisfying way to deal with all problemtic /bully that F4+school have seen ,some will say they should have included legal actions I m with you but this whole other discussion about punitive society and/or reparative one when it come to certain behaviours

I personally want to say so much about this and each scenes about ep11 but right I still try to proccesse all the emotions /between lines messages that this ep wanted to convey us..I will sure come here later this week to share my opinion in details .

at then end even if it not 100% best way to make characters paying consequences of Thier actions, for someone who watched all past version this one is now officially my favourite one so far from all hyb /bof franchise especially when it comes This episode 👍👌in term of direction, storytelling , acting, delivery.. humanising. + addressing one of the principal theme of story ... making all characters layered thinking seriously about Thier choices/behaviours making them ready to take responsibility

-that how I felt there are for sure teasing us ..after kavin speech I was like ..so?! Curious to know what they planned for this two in this version ..

As much as mg 2018 had his own part of success ,and good aspect that made him different from other ,it didn't work for me so much . I remember I had long paused of months before continuing the last 20 EPs of drama. For me it was more like revisited light ver and I felt that the Essen of some character was butchered,along with important topic ..but I guess it worked for some

-my fav version along with f4 Thai now is hyb Japanese ver 2005-2008 two s concluded with movie this one for me it was great balanced between good phase of story +arcs,
characters developments,
angsty feels along with rom-com (in Japanese way) +acting (made me fan of two actors
Mao Inoue and
Jun Matsumoto)

Yes exactly . that's why so many versions of this story exists and there is for everyone taste ,it also depends on mode of viewers you know.
- I think it show that whole team did serious effort while writing/producing this adaptation even if I don't always agree with theirs choices , but I can't deny the fact we don't get every time in drama land this quality of direction especially when it come to classic cliched trop of story

-l think Balance between quality /quantity can be done into to give solid better drama ..but anyway for me it not big deal ..it not stop me from enjoying this version especially that I wasn't even planning to watch it from first place

Ok l just watched the last two episodes and wawo 🙃💔it was too heavy ,rollercoaster of emotions for sure,again I had mixed feelings about choice of how ph team is dealing with story /delivery

- personally l m not fan of some dramas rushed directly /glorify so much romance above good plot characters development especially when it come to sotry with problematic characters nd I think this one of biggest flow/critic that other versions received.

But now the main problem with Thai version is opposite a lots are complaining about is lack of good moments and romance between two lead ,I get why the critic is valid cause your calling this drama as rom-com genre. Only 6 episode but you give almost nothing.. in my pov for those who are waiting for romance don't expect so much.,cause I think at this point this ver made it clearly :

they choose to tackl this adaptation in other way ...l feel that pH /director know that majority of audience watched pervious so they know , event scenes ..love story with all arcs so instead of doing same thing they chosed to maintain Essen of original plot but instead of focusing on love story angl ..they decide to give viewers what other Vers lacked :
1- Focus more on depth /layers in characters. Thiers individuel développement journey from teen to youth adult world ,getting through hardship temptation

2--priotazing angst/intensity over romance in thyme/gorya story before getting officially in relationship...

-All this for sure can't be everyone cup of tea /I also think it unfortunat if they wast such Great of potential couple who have chemistry like this.. but at end this what will make this Thai ver different from others

episode 08 was like calm before Strom,it was fun lovely ,l liked the delivery , direction and balance between different types scenes compared to previous ep7..it was well balanced

-l smiled like and laugh but more important l appreciate the way they are showing in this version how thyme +gorya both of them are trying to understand each others desipt knowing it difficult ,Thier are slowly getting close but the more Thier are close they will also face more challenge hurts and see how much Thier worlds are différentes

-this recent 2 eps we are getting to know more about goraya monologue , this girl is strong fierce but in realistic way because she has her own flows,in most of time she don't share her desires ,worries and fears with others,this can be obstacle in her life and relationships , she like to be independent to do everything herself without involving other, thyme know this about her since in his first scene with her at his home he said "I know you like to fix things yourself without involving other ",this 16 yr high school girl have seen her recent days of life all overplaces by many event and emotions from dealing with bully in school ,to suddenly getting involved with F4 and world of rich class peoples,trying to fight not give up easily to all problems she is facing. Having her first crush but not real serious love ,to see herself discovering many sides of person she used to hate "thyme" from worst dangerous one to good vulnerable one,then slowly developing feelings for him ,without mentioning her family financial situation that forced her to take responsibility of working along with studying. All this must be so overwhelming. Difficults for her to carry at such young age ,That why I can't blame her for still being in deny stage and not admitting clearly her love towards thyme , although she can see thyme effort to change and his care , she also try to response to that,her opinion interactions with thyme,look .expressions at him has changed a lots ,we can see softness,admiration ,attraction But is this enough for her to finally accept him "No", we have seen in ep08 her little insecurity cause while she is struggling in her world she is seeing how different is his world ,So she is having doubts hesitating and we all know next episodes we will see her stepping back only to get hurt and realising how much she love this man .. that it to late her to stop this her heart is already trapped in this dark yet beautiful fairytale,so she need to admit this and face it ,gorya situation remind me some lyrics from Selena Gomez song" There's a million reasons why I should give you up,But the heart wants what it wants" next EPs we will see more vulnerable side of gorya ,her love confession and accepting thyme officially then her again experiencing temptation and struggle with him .we will see her growth and fight along with him for Thier relationships and her future. All this will make her more strong

- thyme I think everyone have notice how much his character have seen growth,his Frist steps were: starting to rethink about his actions . behaviour life choices to point of hating himself .to hate that ugly beast side to understand that violence and power is not only solution or language facing his shadow having self- reflection then willing to change ..Change For LOVE when I say love it not just because of his feelings for gorya .but we are talking about loving himself . So thyme is not same one as his was in episode 01 but he is still have long way to go in his journey of redemption in second half of show will be him understanding that him deciding to stop red card bully games that trageted so many victim just like this doesn't mean is the end he will get to see consequence of his past and how much his actions affected peoples ,that him pursing gorya like this is not enough Love alone is not enough ,so next steps for him will be Change For future and dream to be better person for all peoples around him...

-that birthday countdown scene was really beautiful ..it was like time have stopped and two of them have been stuck in each other eyes look . falling more deeply in love .. Thier expression and smiles ...then later on in birthday party Thier littel scene where there are filtering with each other openly was so lovely...

Exactly.. personally in ep 01 more then joke "riche boyfriend" I liked next line of gorya mother "yes money is not anything but it will sure give better life situation than this" for me it realistic ..I mean yes money can buy everything (including love and respect)but we can't say that it don't give important things that are part of more easy and comfortable life there proverb in my country that said "money is good
friend but very bad master " so money can help but also take over you
Money might give us more chance to achieve our dream in professional life which one of reason why gorya family are sacrifing so much to let Thier daughter be in such prestigious school but Thier not aware of ugly side of this school (bully) and can't relate to problem of rich class persons face ,thyme mother arrive and her reaction will sure give them more idea about struggle of Thier daughter
