I originally rated it an 8, but I came back to change to 9. This really settled very sweetly in my memory, it was really enjoyable and the chemistry of the leads makes me ship them to this day.
It's funny that Haein is the ML in 3/5 of these, but i can't argue :) I would personally include 'Temperature of love' and 'When the weather in nice' in place of 3 and 4, but that's me.
Can you tell does hi won knows that hyun soo is innocent or not and if yes are they working together to find out…
She's doing exactly what she said she'll do, only trust evidence. HS lied to her for 14 years, and there is a potential for him to be mentally unstable too, so she can't share anything with him (yet) since she might be manipulated by him (even though she clearly still cares about him, and wants him to be innocent). The reason she went this far today was to trigger him in order for him to break and reveal his true self. I think she's really impressive, she controls her feelings (neither acting betrayed, nor allowing her sensitivity towards him cloud her reasoning). Of course we have more knowledge than her, and can already feel he is (probably) innocent/victim, but she has no proof of that yet, contrary every one else (that she's been interviewing) was biased against him, making her doubting him more.
you're living for free on someone else's house, they made a list of rules and you completely ignore them / make a mess (ramyun on the carpet cmon!). She's so selfish!
Victim storyline? Not sure what you mean. They are two young girls, no family, no support, trying to make ends…
Your answer justifies my comment so i'm not sure what was unclear.
From losing her parents, to always being misunderstood, to taking care of her teenager selfish sister, to being scammed, to being blamed for her best friend's failure to graduate, to needing surgery, to- to- to- should i go on? There is not a single episode she gets a break; There is a drama genre for this and this drama is not classified as such (Melodrama / Makjang). It's just so tiring to watch when you signed up for romantic comedy instead.
And please don't bring up 'real life' as an argument, because we both know this is not a realistic drama in any sense.
the female lead is never shown to grab sympathy from anyone because of her life and never acted like a victim.…
i never said the character acts as a victim, it's the storyline that treats her as such. nothing goes her way even though she always does her best. And that is just too tiring to watch, there should be a balance for a drama that is not classified as makjang.
I find this drama so frustrating (not because of the 'explicit' content they claim it has, cause I find this claim ridiculous when you actually watch the drama), but because of this victim storyline for the heroine. Does everything have to go wrong for her?! it just ruins my mood... I seriously want to drop it but I like the leads which makes me hold on...
I had this on my planned to watch list since it aired and thankfully decided to watch it at last.
I've read a lot of comments before I watched it, that people liked the old period but not the modern one, but I don't agree. Although the old period was more intense, I think it'd be too tragic without the modern storyline.
I highly recommend it, but wait for the right time to watch it; When you feel like a melancholic yet hopeful slow paced drama, with just the right amount of humor.
I think this season had the best overall cast (scandals aside) in terms of how well matched with each other they were. Like you can tell, aside from the 'romance', people formed friendships. I especially like Uidong/Jihyun's friendship and the girls with each other.
Also, dunno how HK/MJ is gonna turn out, but it was really nice to see someone being moved when they recognise a person has genuine feelings for them. I hope they'll be endgame and have a lovely relationship :)

I actually liked the characters in the second season more :) Especially the 'nuna'!!!
