I was thinking the same atleast he should remember her ㅠㅠ. I dont love open ending.
That knowing smile says it all🤫
I haven't watched the mortal arc yet- how did he react when she told him the same thing back then? The flashback with the smile at the end of 33 could be taken as a clue🙈

That's why he is known as "the scary boss" 🤭It's too bad they didn't show the trainee's expression…
Ohhh i wasn't even thinking about 🙈

I don't think she'd misunderstand I guess given how having a secret date right there would be too weird even for a secret office romance 🙈

It's good that the litigation team has common sense i guess 🤭

They couldn't truly get justice to her sister-only by stooping down to his awful level they were able to save…
I agree with you on the basis "do the crime- do the time" (i may have botched the saying).

**For ep 10, I think we need more context on the Korean law too to understand the sentence duration.
I tried googling it and even for fatality traffic accidents that do not involve DUIs, the sentence could be upto 5 years and jaywalking is one way of reducing the sentence further.

The defendant was wrong to say that she wanted to be completely acquited from all charges (KHM too told her that it wasn't possible). I guess part of being a lawyer is finding legal loopholes? If they went for the original murder charge, just like with Gypsey's and the brothers' real life cases, she too would have gotten a harsh sentence but perhaps Korean law has more loopholes than American law? (Also if I'm not mistaken, the brothers' case was originally mishandled to a certain degree right?)

**For ep 9, honestly I'm not aware if you can legally force a doctor to treat a patient unwillingly in South Korea. Probably you can loose your license depending on the hospital board but that's about it. Since the male doctor took over it and did not report her, there was nothing to charge during her first refusal. During the flight, as far as we are aware, she did try to save him but because he died and his mother recalled that it was the same doctor who refused to treat him previously, out of grief she decided to persecute the doctor anyway (kind of like the hyperchondric mum in one of the initial episodes).
If the doctor didn't have a history with him, the case would probably have been dismissed without so much drama.

**About the DV case and the friends' reactions- I agree with you thay they were going through the motions. It was their way of processing their feelings and probably internalized guilt for not noticing things sooner. The writer's choice is contraversial but i guess if you only focus on the drama and not the ethics behind, it's kind of a smart way of using the existing props to convey the same helpless feelings-seeing how the drama has so many product placement advertisements, i don't think their budget really gave them a lot of creative freedom (ex. hiring a smash room for instance).

It's good to hear that you liked the ending! I was curious how they would wrap up the series by adding a modern day scenario after all the fantasy sequences🙈

Haha it's like you read my mind. That's exactly how I felt when they included her voice in the background🙈

Yes!!! I love the fact that Yun isn't actually a tyrant boss but his personality naturally cautions people. He's so misunderstood simply because he's quiet/ focussed.

The way he clearly told her that he's there for her while still teasing her speaks volumes knowing how helpless she must have felt 🥲

I'm also glad how the drama handles the team's vibe. They are so chill and united.
I mean usually to add more drama, they would have usually made that kind guesture kind of scandalous by adding a misunderstanding (ex. a team member could have seen Yun privately giving her several gifts at a time coincidentally the trainee has been acting strange, causing unnecessary gossip/ misunderstandings until the assistant is forced to speak up)

They will upload all 4 episodes together. It might take a little time though.

Ngl i half expected him to be her doctor given the number of times he had to save her with his blood and soul (so they can put some kind of parallel that can help with the censorship)🙈

If the update is like with Summit of our Youth, they'll probably upload the episodes in another 3 hours or so (the same thing happened with SOOY where they kept refreshing the countdown 2-3 times before uploading)

people are disappointed and rightfully so. Lotfg is lacking in so many areas lolThe romance is meh at best. If…
Personally if you liked the animated version of Mulan for her dynamic with General Shang and her crew, you might like this. If anything, once the ML accepts his feelings, his actions become almost comical at times since he's supposed to be super serious/ hide her identity but can't stop himself from melting whenever he sees her.

There are "fluffy" bits but it's mostly after she gets close to the ML. Like the other commentors said, the battle scenes are choreographed in such a way it almost feels like when they fight together, they are 1 unit. I usually skip through battle scenes but their scenes really made me pause.

That being said, the SML can be irritating and some of the villains are not really that formidable, but if you are looking for romance and nothing too serious, this might work for you. Perhaps try a few shorts frlm YT to get an idea?

It's too bad they didn't show the trainee's expression when she came back home in ep 9 to see her grumpy looking boss babysitting her sisters.

They couldn't truly get justice to her sister-only by stooping down to his awful level they were able to save…
KHM already said that the sister is like family so it's not really that surprising why they too enjoyed watching him getting beaten up even if they probably knew that it was twisted and wrong.

***
One question I have with this case is if the sister cannot truly ever sue the husband for DV in the future without affecting her closed case. That could shed some light perhaps as to why the writer chose this particular way instead of the usual approach you suggested?

I mean the sister was abused to the point that she was willing to take dangerous drugs to find relief. Not being able to get justice for it is sick (specially considering how the coward actually blamed her for DV).

If they truly cannot get justice for her DV, in reality seeing the abuser getting beaten up would be more satisfying than smashing anything- after all the scum didn't die from it/ nor will he have any lasting impact from it unlike with the sister who will now be labelled as mentally unstable as well, further impacting the very career she tried to save with her silence.

Two wrongs will not make a right but they aren't exactly saints either to completely forgive 🥲

(Ngl this show has made me realize that I might actually be more vindictive than I thought💀😬)

Episode 8 could have been great without the three friends laughing at the video of the wife beating the husband!…
They couldn't truly get justice to her sister-only by stooping down to his awful level they were able to save her. In an ideal world, she shouldn't have to choose between her safety and future. Alas the world isn't fair.

Sometimes when the pain is too hard and you are helpless, all you can do is laugh. None of them are inherently bad...that's why the sister cried while laughing.

(That being said, I'm not saying what she did was fine either)

I actually don't want them to date. I've changed my mind.🤪
Is this reverse psychology? 🤭

Jokes aside, I get what you mean. I find their slow pace/ quiet lounge talks way more fulfilling than them being all over each other. It’s refreshing.

i don't understand why lee jin u was forcing her lol he came to her home like he is the master anyways epi 10…
We really need to know why Jin Woo is so confident that she’ll accept him. He’s too old to be that clingy unless it’s their thing🫢

Ex wife’s rant - it’s probably nothing. For all we know, may be she’s giving Hash back to him due to circumstances she didn’t communicate during the last time they met? I mean Yun only gets to spend time with Hash on Fridays but the preview shows KHM and the twins will be playing with Hash in casual clothing. Unless that particular Friday is a holiday, it looks like Yun will be having Hash over for at least the weekend.

idk what yall are seeing in the second couple. Yeah she's insecure but that doesn't necessarily mean she needs…
I wish if they gave us a bit more context as to why Jin Woo is so confident with the way he is pursuing her.
Just because the audience knows or at least has an inkling that she is kind of interested in him, it’s not really enough given how JW has chosen to get her to agree. Since Jin Woo has to be at least in his early 30s, his actions at the moment look rather immature. We are missing context (being friends and confidantes for years do not really count as a good enough reason to be pushy).

It’s like with the “The First Frost” - sure Sang Yan kept stalking YF BUT it was pretty explicitly made clear through all the flashbacks that they had a mutual understanding even if their feelings were not defined with a title when they were young/ he knew about her troubled past. With Jin Woo, I wish if we got more context.
