That's the thing with defending defendants though. You have to justify why they did what they did. Not all are psychopaths who just enjoy hurting people.
If not there would be no reason to give defendants the right to have a lawyer.

It's also the reason why Yun always reminds KHM when she insists on taking on a case on the importance of presentation during the trial. You need to be able to "sell" your justification.

Since she got assaulted close to the pub and the parking lot was supposed to be in the opposit side of the street, it should be close to the same location ideally.
It's possible though that Kim may have parked her vehicle abit away from the pub parking lot (but connected to the same road)? The time taken for Kim to get into her vehicle and drive off would be enough time for the victim to gain consciousness too? It's just speculation though 🙈

It is a fact that the victim jaywalked on an extremely dangerous route over 30 times despite her previous violations. This suggests that there would have been a possibility that even if she wasn't concussed, she still would have KNOWINGLY jaywalked there again.

I'm not familiar with South Korean law but at least according to google, it seems that a person can be sentenced upto 5 years for traffic fatality cases that are related to negligence- with jaywalking as one option that could assist in reducing the sentence.🙊

That's why they still charged her. The bullying was used to make the assault more understandable/ explain why she may have been recklessly driving at the time.

Honestly I'm glad they comsidered the victim's habitual jaywalking when sentencing her. IRL some just assume road rules are just there for humour- specially since the law is more strict on drivers.

Exactly. Even I'm comfortable with the way their relationship is going. Their emotional intimacy surprisingly is enough for me. If they do get together, it would have to be something open ended at the drama since I just can't imagine them as a couple at this stage- it's just too early.

It’s quite mixed IMO. The drama was willing to give a mother munchausen syndrome in order to protect a male negligent driver afterall (I personally liked the episode but if the show wanted to make women the victim, the episode goes against that belief).

Ep 2 was a very sensitive case for male victims if you really think about it. The way the clinic was willing to dismiss the man’s case just because he should be able to produce more in the future was wrong regardless if he had a medical situation or not. His case was interesting since you don’t really see such cases on media much (at least I haven’t)..

About the “who took his clothes off? Who folded them” but, it’s a cliche thrope how the drunk individual undresses themselves claiming it’s too hot. He likely did the same and she just tidied up. Did she see anything? Nobody knows 🫢

The ex’s story is over now that Yun is finally able to move on (letting go off his memories and the soap tradition) and clearly telling the ex that she doesn’t need to hide when she drops Hash for his weekly visits).

With the twin, there isn’t anything resolve as sisters since they are close enough for KHM to help even the twin’s acquaintances but we might get more with her mum since even in tonight’s preview there was a flashback.

With the 2 leads I think we will get something over the next 3 episodes but it’ll continue to be subtle. A calm and quiet gradual approach since we already have a fast paced romance arc with the second couple (even if it hasn’t started yet).

Se Ri seemd pretty settled in her uni life so probably at least a year? Logically it would make sense for the ML to finish his final senior year in America at the very least since he's already postponed uni life 2 years after all.

Personally I absolutely loved the movie-but it felt really tense at the same time since it kept reminding me of 20CG as well as the Grim Reaper drama the ML was in earlier this year.

I kept expecting the worst - but I guess that's what made the ending feel so good too🙈

He came back from America- it's in the subtext. Now as a legal adult his abusive father can no longer control him.

Since he didn't want to leave S.Korea, he probably will enroll into Se-Ri's uni eventually.
