They're both produced by wajijiwa entertainment and youku actually... That's why you'll see the same artists singing…
Immature people can go cry in a corner while those who don't care can enjoy the cozyness that is HL and TFF (together or individually without cursing the other)๐โฅ๏ธ๐คญ๐ผ
What is the connection between the restaurant owner and their grandmother?
They didn't really dwell into the twins' grandmother's past yet right? Aside from her being a hairdresser/ harsh mother?
Perhaps the connction might be the orphanage in some way? Or perhaps a former client? Orrr it could be a red herring since it would be too cliche if fate somehow connects everybody.
Personally, the two dramas are best seen as separate works. The entire cast for all characters, personalities,…
They are stand alone but it is an interesting experience for those who wish to try both and see how one character (Sang Yan) can have so much going on in their life.
The good thing about TFF's team is that even if it was unintentional, you can see they did consider and respect HL's universe when making the drama - probably to minimize the backlash they were getting from fans who were disappointed with the different cast choice (not a fan theory since the drama literally used HL's OST in the first episode so they must have at least given 1% thought on it).
Ngl I kept hearing Phoebe and Joey's voices whenever Miji and Mire's "universes" showed up in ep 7 ๐คฃThe way…
That's so true! Like even with the "ex"- throughout his interactions with "Miji", he seemed like this stalker ex but now that you know the truth, everything makes more sense๐ฅฒ
The fact that each revelation matched their personality was perfect- even the frenemy's blunt approach.
i knew they kept making him say all the wrong names because he was finally supposed to call her by her real name..but…
Sejin isn't a mere farmer (no hate to farmers). He's acclaimed in the financial world enough for even Mire to notice.- hell, Mire is practically his fan.
Based on all the data he had on Miji (and Mire), he must have figured out that the twins must have switched even if he didn't know why. Afterall, risk analysis, forecasting, and making hypothesis is what he is known for ๐
Also it's kind of obvious if you think about it. Why would "Mire" know about his grandfather so well for someone who lived most of her adult life in Seoul while "Miji" knows Han Se Jin's legacy / is a finance freak- it should have been the other way round๐
It's clear he's a genuine guy, and the affection he has for Miji comes from a deep, soulful love. But I canโt…
TBF Hosu has always been an awkward person and at least he admits his shortcomings quite openly (in a previous episode he said that he is a secret keeper since he doesn't know how to comfort and support people in any other way).
It's annoying but sometimes you truly cannot control or force your hidden emotions out when you are an awkward person- it's just the way you are (I'm my own Hosu and I even irritate myself for not being able to be comforting the way people expect eventhough i do care๐)
On the bright side, looks like his senior's warning finally reached Hosu so we will probably get to see an evolved more outspoken version of Hosu in the next few episodes ๐
Just wanted to say what an amazing experience it has been to watch both dramas. They really took Shrek's analogy on how people are like onions - with many layers- into heart.
Watching Sang Zhi's POV of her brother's life and Sang Yan's POV of his sister's life is an excellent reminder that there's more to a person than what meets the eye. You can know someone all your life but may not truly understand their hidden struggles and hidden love ๐ฅฒโฅ๏ธ
Watch order wise, personally I recommend watching HL first and then TFF since it's extra powerful to learn that Sang Yan isn't as goofy as he seems.๐
(Honestly it doesn't matter which drama you watch first as long as the viewer is mature/patient enough to understand that the characters do not have fixed personalites + since two different studios handled the dramas there might be slight immaterial discrepancies).
I never understand why Byeon Wooseok is too overhyped in this series and everyone want him to act another series…
Since LR, KHY completed filming a drama series, participated in a variety show, and is currently working on a horror movie (not to mention she's had quite a lot of CF opportunities, successful Fan Meetings, as well as hosting opportunities during the last 12 months). Doesn't sound like she's being ignored right?๐ค
They probably have other roles in discussion as well but have not released the details yet.
Honestly surprised how she's coping with such a heavy schedule.๐
Hi, can you guide me as to how you are watching this? Pretty please? I am such not at all tech savvy.
Oooh i see ๐
Is there a section after you read the rules called "general"? Since based on the steps, once you go through https://discord.gg/ZH3gqJGTR2 you need to read the rules, and then click general / fansubs. If it's difficult to find the "general" tab on the mobile app, perhaps try logging in through PC?
If all else fails, I guess on the bright side ๐sh's subs will be a good mental exercise ๐
Glad you can finally take a break from your degree! Do you have more semesters left to complete? ๐
I haven't watched NTA but Nami Uraraka is definitely the perfect Slice of Life drama- it's relaxing and yet so Japanese at the same time๐คญ The couple is chaotic like SolJae (or rather like Inhyuk in some ways ๐คฃ). If you have watched "My Happy Marriage", you will like this since the premise is quite similar (minus the childhood trauma).
If you are interested in the "arranged marriage" theme, Prisoner of Beauty is also good. It's a historical C-drama with enemies to lovers thrope. The MC is amazing in it too. They just completed the drama recently too so you can binge it. It's available on Netflix, Youtube, and most streaming sites.๐
Oooh also if you have time, kdramas wise, I can recommend "our unwritten Seoul" as well. The drama touches heavy themes but it's really wholesome.
The last two episodes just wrenched my heart....I wasnt ready for that.
TMAi! The worst part is apparently both deaths were not supposed to happen in the novel. Wish there was some clarification as to why they had to die.
I kind of understand why SHE had to sacrifice herself (honestly it's unfair how some blame the MC for her death since she chose to ๐ to free her husband-it was inevitable even if the Wei clan were not involved). It's too bad her father didn't live long enough to see what his foolish actions did though.
HIS death though.....he truly didn't deserve that kind of fate ๐ฅฒ White orchids are going to have a whole new meaning for the next few months i guess ๐ซ
I don't understand why this drama is so overrated.I mean, it's a good drama, but not so good that I would rate…
Most love Enemies to Lovers thrope and this drama did deliver it really well objectively speaking for a C-drama.
I mean even after they officially became a couple, rather than settling down and being 100% lovey dovey, their clashing magnetic personality kept finding ways to show up but in a more evolved manner so it was more interesting? Instead of shifting the drama to "us against the world", the drama's dynamic in the latter half of the drama was focussed on "us against the world VS. consequences of our past actions".
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her…
Tell me about it- sometimes it can be a little tooo relatable. It's almost like the hug you never got when you were in similar situations (albeit not as bad as theirs')๐
As long as Gyeong gu's story leaves him (and his hamster) happy, I'll take anything๐

The subs in ep 1 is their version and it's soooo good. I wanted to access through the fansub's account directly but it's too much effort ๐
Since you have discord, perhaps try copying the link mentioned on her X or dm the subber may be?

The twins' story is so heart breaking and heart warming at the same time ๐ฅฒ
