Hi, can you guide me as to how you are watching this? Pretty please? I am such not at all tech savvy.
Heyyy! I watch via our beloved ๐ as usual- subs are machine translated though from ep 2 onwards so it kind of feels like you are participating a Japanese Grammar exam ๐
The official fan subs are done by oshiroen and is available on Discode but since I don't want to create an account just for this, I'm biting the bullet with ๐- the drama is worth it ๐
There's another member's only website too but it's not easy to create an account as it's quite exclusive ๐
okayyy i have too much to say firstly wow secondly wowww ๐ this is way more intriguing than i thought it would…
Ji Yun's definitely not married :)
It would be a fun twist but the plot idea is too makjang for a healing drama๐ The cafe lady in ep 7's preview might either be her former supervisor (did they ever show a flashback of the supervisor talking? If so we can match the voice!!!!)....or it could be the wife but she probably is a third party not related to the company (since the staff keep talking about Park only).
The polaroid message is interesting- was it a veiled threat or is there more to Mire's incident with Park? The flashback from ep 6 kiiiiind of sounded like Mire was depending on Park to help her on something but he later betrayed her with a cowardly move๐
I'm dying to see how Sejin will react once he finds out about Mire's secret ๐ He seems so understanding and since he too uprooted his life in Seoul to honor his grandfather's memory, he might understand Mire's logic....but how understanding can he be? ๐
Honestly eventhough KSH is the protagonist of this drama, the highlights are the FL (Seo Yei Ji) and his authistic…
I might be abit bias about the drama since it's one of my all time favourites but it's worth an attempt.
KSH's character is the protagonist of the drama but it's actually about 3 traumatized adults who never really outgrew their traumatic childhood and how they heal eachother. You feel bad for KSH's character but the other two are the best part since their stories are more unique compared to his.
(Neglected spare kid with unresolved parental issues is pretty much a kdrama trope now ๐).
It also has a bit of a dark romance -gothic kind of vibe to it and the support cast is also really good. The romance is not too saccharin.
KSH does cry quite abit in it too but you can make a game out of it if you want if you are feeling extra vindictive๐
I have just started this show - had been waiting long for it to reach the half-mark, to begin. Just 2 episodes…
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her out of her shell? Back in their hometown, Miji is known for being always happy no matter how bad things get but even in ep 1, when she was trying to avoid him, she still was able to let out at least some of her frustration in front of him (at least until he foolishly mentioned Mire).
So maybe it's become a habit? Besides Miji isn't really good at being quiet and serious (you'll notice it more as we see her trying to navigate through Mire's life) so she's just trying to wing it and blame whatever inconsistencies to stress.
She's part of Miji's trauma (abandoning her when Miji's career ended/ picking Mire over her/ the SFL was the one who started the whole misunderstanding between Miji and Hosu in the first place when they were kids).
They might add a scene where Miji can finally confront the SFL and put her in her place may be?
I'm still not 100% sold on Mirae x Sejin. Yet. I think the SA plot is a big wall for me, as Mirae is still clearly…
Based on Mire's flashback tonight/ polaroid message, I don't think it's a straight forward SA situation.
Mire's main concern seems to be "rumours" and "things being fake". She also doesn't really give any signs of a SA victim - I mean she seems comfortable around strangers and didn't even really freakout when Miji's ex "kidnapped" her (eventhough she didn't really like hanging out with him in general) at least until the hotel room came up.
Seeing as even Park got exiled in a way, may be the SA too is a rumour that was spread to cover something even bigger involving Mire's former supervisor's case?
What do you think? Honestly can't wait till Saturday ๐
I just love how this weekend's OSTs perfectly encapsulates Miji-Hosu's and Mire-Sejin's stories so perfectly. From the lyrics to the visuals - just perfect๐ฅฒ
thankfully they mentioned this it was definitely weird that their mother wasn't able to notice them apart no matter…
Honestly the mum could have tried a little more to get to know them. At least she should be able to recognize Mire since she invested so much of her limited time on her ๐ซ
He's Mire's big secret- he might be connected to her former Supervisor's case in some way perhaps?
Either the 2 tried to work together to help the supervisor but things got messy and this Mr Park threw Mire under the bus orrrr they both got punished for getting involved in her former super's case (and it's just that the staff is more sympathetic to Park than Mire)
I really enjoyed the drama, ep 11 was like the saddest part of it ๐ฅบ this drama shouldโve got 8+ ratings at…
The main problem is some compare it to "Light in your eyes" (same actresses and writer if i'm not mistaken). Apparently there was a similar twist in it too with the same actresses so understandably, these viewers didn't find the plot as fresh as it is for those who have not watched LIYE ๐
KNJ's new job was a hint that he would choose not to reincarnate with Hae Suk after seeing how past lives affect…
They might have done it on purpose in order to maintain religious ambiguity? I mean since different religions have their own idea of rebirth (as well as how some can recall their padt lives).
They kept the church since it was an important landmark to Eun Ho in the past but aside from this and "Korean hell", the story didn't seem to stay fixed to one idealogy of "heaven"? It might be done on purpose to avoid triggering extreme netizens looking for an excuse to cause trouble for the drama?
and btw, twin's mother is the worse. she obviously has issues with her own mother that she passed down to her…
Ah sorry. I meant why Miji's mum was being hard on her.
Hosu's mum is being a typical Asian mum. She by default favours Mire since she sees her as Hosu's equal intellectually speaking.
The idea that her school's part time janitor (with zero ambition) dating her son is probably something unfathomable (doesn't help that Miji isn't exactly openly nice to Hosu either). She probably sees the two like siblings ๐ ๐ ๐
She respects Miji for sacrificing her youth to support her grandmother but the fact that Miji isn't even trying to build something permanent probably hurts her chances with Hosu's mum.
Also I don't think Hosu has ever dared to talk about girls with his mum so she probably isn't aware ๐คญ

So true! I just love how Hosu's mum is with both twins in comparison. She seems to understand what both of them need by instinct. She may not guess the twin correctly but she always knows what to tell them. ๐ฅฒ
I'm curious to know why the mum is so hard on Miji. Does Miji remind her of herself when she was young? Specially since she had to support the family even long before the dad passed away๐ค

They didn't show who got harrased right?

Honestly if you've ever felt burnt out or like an outsider in your own home, this drama will probably break you....but it will also heal you too.
That being said, it's not a super serious drama either. It has it's fun moments too. It's like a warm hug i guess? At least IMO๐
If you have time may be give ep 2 a chance since the general tone of the drama sets in ep 2?
They'll probably upload the rest of the episodes within the next 2 weeks (at least that's what they did with "The First Frost")
PS: Sunjae won since he was more realistic๐คซ
Thanks ๐
(They give me the same vibe that most sweet yet expendable ill-fated couples give off in similar dramas for some reason)
Thanks!
PS: a yes or no would be enough- please add spoiler tag ๐
