It was terrible- between X and the novel, I accidently spoilt most of the key thriller bits but fortunately the drama has started to drop hints sooner into the story compared to the novel so it isn't that bad. ..yet🙈

It's now fun to see how they drop hints in ways that were not in the novel and how most of the fans are spot on with their guesses😝

FL might forgive her eventually based on her character but I really hope the ML will teach her a lesson.

The SFL here really made me miss the SFL in Serendipity Embrace yesterday. SE's SFL too held a delusional crush on the ML for nearly 10+ years but her character development arc was sooo brilliant after she found out about the FL's feelings. A real Bestie❤️

The drama has so much potential that I didn't want to ruin the experience.

Not really...you'll just hopelessly wonder around the "streets" of kdrama land, looking for a show that could bring that same euphoria for months endlessly until one fine day you stumble on a new show that will fill the void.

I find the assistant (the adjhussi secretary) abit suspicious. He's too docile...and you know in kdramas it's usually the quiet close friends you have to watch out for 🙈

In ep 4 they explained it. FL's 💩 friend sabotaged their relationship. So as far as the ML is concerned, the FL wants nothing to do with him- including his help.

But in the present day we do see him helping her family out subtly rather than helping his dad get his revenge.

I like both versions. In a way it's good that the older couple started off so chaotic - it really suits their origins (i mean they were each others' nemesis before they fell in love and they both think thatthe other betrayed them).

It just feels more natural somehow. They love strongly and hate each other strongly too🙈

The best part is that the audience knows that behind their bravado, both still care- they just can't help themselves.

She really is- and she really fits the whole "contradictinng" theme they seem to have with the MC.
The hotshot star spokeperson's unassuming, quiet, and fragile wife with so much hidden fire (just like her uber expensive yet simple fashion sense).

Knetz hardly ever say anything good honestly and are overcritical (at least from what I've seen)

Personally, I love her take on HeeJoo. You can feel her resignment, loneliness, cheekiness, and other emotions just through her expressions. Even the way she cries doesn't feel fake.

I haven't seen her other work so can't really give a comparison

406- that's what SE calls the kidnapper.

One of the current mysteries SE is having is "who is 406" and how does "he" know so much about their life and what was the motive.

Until SE found out that HJ can speak, he previously didn't suspect that HJ herself could be making the calls.

But now that he knows that she can speak, things begin to make more sense. So she will be added to the suspect list BUT he will not confront her about it directly since he loves her and once the initial shock is gone, he will understand why she's doing it.

It's the opposite reason. He has always liked her BUT he didn't know that she liked him back or that she was even interested in him remotely.

In his POV, he thought like this because he and her mum forced her into the marriage. He also knows that her mum is opportunistic and would force HJ to do anything to take advantage of their marriage.

His cold behaviour is wrong but in his pov he thought he was giving her space and that his constant reminders that they weren't real was his way of telling her that she doesn't have to be his puppet to please society. That's why as soon as the "blackmailer 406" tells him how HJ truly feels, he changes his behaviour starts to become more present and attentive. He's always been there for her BTS where possible but once he finds out HJ likes him back, he'll do anything his power to make her feel cherished.

This is consistant with both the novel and book.

(I know that him not knowing sign language makes what I said sound inconsistant but I think for this bit there might be more to the story and we should be more patient till the drama reveals the reason why)

Netflix verified it yesterday on their schedule. 14th and 20th will have episodes.
