He compared the 406's voice to Hee Joo's voice (probably from the police car). It means it's the same voice.
True, 3 years is a long time to drag a misunderstanding.
The main problem with SaJu is that they both think they know eachother but they actually know very little. Since both live a life of lies and secrets, both assumed that there's no reason to even attempt to have a proper relationship.
I do think HJ will put more effort now that she knows that Sa Eon does care about her. Her main issue had been the fact that she thought Sa Eon was forced to marry her too (forced in the sense that he really wanted to marry In Ah and she was just a poor substitute- it didn't help that SE and the family kept reminding her that she was only a substitute).
HeeJu did try to connect with SE at the beginning of their marriage but he rejected her (the dinner and dance flashback- he did mean well because he thought HJ's mum forced her to seduce her. But the way he stopped HJ only reminded her again that she wasn't accepted as his wife). There's only so much you can do if the guy you have secretly loved for a long time constantly reminds you that you aren't a real couple (specially if you are traumatized like HeeJu) ๐๐๐
If it helps, in the novel, HJ sacrifices alot for SE too- they both aren't afraid to die if it could save the other.๐
๐ซถ PS: i totally agree with you about the masked kid's identity! It makes sense๐
It also helps the plot to add a classic kdrama misunderstanding thrope since at one point the SML will figure out that the masked kid is Sa Eon BUT since he doesn't know that our's isn't the real Sa Eon, he'll probably cause an unnecessary misunderstanding with his meddling
Anyway I have an issue with BSE learning sign language only now... I mean he has known her for 20+ yrs and he…
I think it was the timing of her movements vs. what he said that caught his attention? Kind of like how we can notice discrepancies if the subtitles and audio aren't perfectly synchronized?
Perhaps HJ's SL movements sometimes started before he started to speak? It may not be noticable unless you look really closely (which is perfectionist Sa Eon's area of expertise๐)?
The new passiage- again it probably was her synchronized movements that mattered more than her accuracy? Both seemed to be in a trance during the test after all๐.

I get what you mean but in this case I didn't blame Sa Eon. He's one of the most misunderstood greenflags we've seen (at least in 2024).
What I meant was that Sa Eon loves HeeJu so much that he will understand why HeeJu made the calls. I can't recall if he already said it in the drama, but he admits that he only thought that keeping HeeJu safe was enough to have a good marriage and that he didn't consider her feelings (i'm assuming he also didn't want to burden her with his love because of his past and how the marriage happened as well since he didn't know about her feelings).
He's smart and empathic enough to understand that his cold behaviour towards her was part of the problem.
HeeJu could have tried to reach out more, but here the question is about how Sa Eon will react once he finds out who 406 is- not who should be blamed for their strained marriage.

No, he suspects that there are at least 2 callers based on his assistant's findings.
Remember, after the first call, he correctly profiled the kidnapper eventhough he barely spoke 5 minutes in total with him.
Whereas the way Heeju speaks during the subsequent calls are visibly different compared to the way the first caller spoke (in fact i think a few viewers questioned just how smart SE was to not notice the difference for so long๐)

Probably not as much as the first time. More than betrayal, he'll probably finally see just how bad the last 3 years were and how complacent he was.
I mean, your own wife (who you've known for 20 years) had to resort to anonymously blackmailing him (and risking her safety by using a dangerous unknown device) to finally open up? That's just sad๐ซ
*sigh* changing my comment to a simple "give it a try" since everything gets perceived as being offended.i hope…
You sound diplomatic enough, - nothing to nitpick over IMO ๐
It's worth giving at least the first 2 eps a try. If it's not for you, there's plenty of other dramas to enjoy as well. Alternatively, if viewers like rage watching, sure do whatever floats your boat, that can be fun too in it's own way.
The drama is pretty clear for the most part but if it's confusing (specially since it is a lot to digest when you binge watch/ watch between long breaks), the SUMMARY OF THE TIMELINE is available n the Discussions panel๐ :
Have fun - I wish if i had your patience๐
Her character is grey I believe - neither good nor evil
We still know about their presense through their text exchange with SE (example, the night of the explosion)

So Mr Park's findings can be justified.

"Till the End of the Moon" traumatized me so now I'm more cautious๐ ๐ ๐
Depending on your streaming site, it might take an additional hour or so to upload with subs.

Haha you figured out my issue so easily ๐
Does it feel like there'll be a HE? Or open ending?๐๐๐
