My Crazy Theory:The real son is a psycho and tries to kill everybody when they were young because he's illegitimate…
The only thing i can't imagine is who'd be drunk enough to want to have an affair with her- she's just so frosty and focussed😅
Since I-na did mention that she knows the Paek's family secret, may be the real son is the presidential candidate's actual son too but they hid him away because he is too twisted to be part of the family? But the chairman found out and is using it as a trump card?
Novel readers! What's with Na Yuri? Hidden daughter of someone? Or normal human?
They've changed some of the characters.
For instance, in the novel, Sa Eon was jealous of a male director who worked in the centre with HJ (the director is 12 years older than her and knew her for almost as long as SE knew her, so here SE's point of jealousy is mostly rooted on what could have been if he and HJ were close all this time since the director can call her dear and other kind endearments and HJ trusts the director alot too while HJ doesn't open to SE at all).
Basically some of SE's Jealous lines that are directed on the SML are ones that were originally thrown against the old director😅
how exactly doesn't he even for one second doubt it could be her? Since very start, she's quite emotional and…
Listen to the latest 406 calls in ep 4....you might notice a difference...it's very subtle but compared to the initial calls, theres a slight difference from Sa Eon's end 🙊
She's a Hong because her mum married the chairmanShe has selective mutism (there's more to it which is explained…
It started with her mum forcing her to not to talk but over time it naturally became part of her (at least in the novel). Since i didn't want to spoil the exact reason to OP only I mentioned that her situation is complicated and told them to check out ep 3 for the exact reason 🫠
FL was forced to lie since she was a kid...that has to leave some emotional scarring in terms of speech specially since she's naturally quite introverted😅
im at ep 2. so is HJ pretending to be a mute? im confused why her surname is Hong/Na? so from the first 2 ep,…
She's a Hong because her mum married the chairman
She has selective mutism (there's more to it which is explained in ep 3 in detai). Her situation is quite complicatded. Let's just say that she didn't mean to deceive the ML at first may be?
Your idea on FL's mum's treatment is spot on- she's an opportunistic leech. FL's father is her ex-husband.
Treating the FL coldly for the election- it's the opposit reason. In his POV, the FL was forced to marry him and she has a manipulative mother who forces her to do things. So by putting distance, he hopes to keep her safe and not force her to do anything she dislikes. It didn't occur to him that his behaviour was truly hurting her since all this time he thought that he was irrelevant to her (yes, he got it all wrong)
I want the FL to tell ML the truth that she is not speaking because of her mother.I already hate her mother character.…
He already knows about how controlling the mum is (and how manipulating parents can be in general) so he will understand her. That's one of the reasons why their marriage is so distant (he flatly told HJ that she shouldn't bother being her mum's puppet with him in one of the flashback episodes).
In the novel, she fell first and he later realised his feelings years before their wedding (kind of like what happened in Hidden Love. She loved him since she was a kid)
No idea how they will do it in the drama since they have changed their childhood story abit.
So based on the flashbacks when they were young, ML. is not actually the real son???? right becoz the mother said…
That's very perceptive of you honestly! The drama is filled with so many lies and contradictions that this could actually be a possibility- specially considering the fact that to the parents, their dynasty is the most important thing🙈🙈🙈
Gues we need to study all the crumbs they've been dropping in ep 3 and 4😉

I mean it's in the source material too- and it was obviously a technical issue 😅😅😅
Guess that's one way to get attention🤷♀️
Or is it because the SFL used the SL term for mountain to flip at the FL subtly?

Guess PJs were out of the budget

Ep 7 on the 13th and ep 8 on the 21st.
The recap will be on the 20th.

Was kinda bummed that I spoilt that particular twist but now it's fun picking up the clues they keep throwing so subtly 🤭
If it helps, ep 3 promises that the series will get more dark in the future since it isn't a one-off random attack.
Have fun with the show 😁
