Deve chamar adorável corredora porque a menina vive correndo para modificar os acontecimentos no tempo. Eu não…
What you said is so true in reality- would be nice if we can change the past but we can't :)
Not sure if the translation is wrong, but about the point you asked if it was an accident- it was never an accident. (If I misunderstood your message, sorry!)
Lovely Runner literally exists because of KHY according to the director and writer so you are quite wrong about…
I just stated a few confirmed facts- that's all. Just because KHY was not the main focus (eventhough she deserves it) doesn't mean that she was completely forgotten-even if there was mismanagement with her promotions, the issues actually got a lot of attention instead of being forgotten this time (unfortunately unlike what happens with most FL actresses in this genre)
*** There are many valid negative reviews in MDL, but there's also a lot of bot negative reviews too (i'm not lying because we actually saw a few bot accounts declaring in the comments section that people need to rate the show 1/10 for rediculous reasons like not having IU in it🤦♀️)
The 9.1 rating is mostly based on the ratings given by fans who watched it while it was airing before all the hype and spoilers- these are fans who came in with low/ no expectations but were constantly surprised after every episode by how well the show was executed.
Now that all the spoilers are out, some of the elements that made the show so special are no longer relevant (specially the weekly anticipation, trying to guess if they will have their happy ending, will SJ live, etc) so may be the 9+ rating no longer feels valid for some.
(Before you mention it, i do not mean that everybody loved it when it was airing. Obviously even when it was airing there were viewers who didn't like it which is completely fine)
Literally every single line I wrote in the previous comment screams "have your own opinion instead of following the hype"🤦♀️
I said "it's best to give the first 2 episodes A CHANCE" not that the first two episodes are the best. Nor did I mention that the OP's comment was wrong- that's their opinion after all.🤷♀️
Bruh what's with the reviews and ratings? Math ain't Mathing?!! When the drama was running, apparently the guy…
Lovely Runner literally exists because of KHY according to the director and writer so you are quite wrong about her being overshadowed.
BWS did not overshadow KHY- there's just more focus on him at the moment because it's his breakthrough role/ first time being the ML whereas KHY is already well known 🙂
"Aesthetic looks" -BWS is not just a pretty face. It's the outstanding way he portrayed Sunjae that really made him shine this time.
Tbh it's best to give at least the first 2 episodes a chance before deciding if you want to drop it or not.
And yes, ignore the hype (both the good and the bad as you can see in the review section) since the genre isn't always a fan favourite- treat it like any other show 🙂
(I personally loved it but some understandably don't like it)
I loved this show but did anyone also find the last 2 episode boring like they were doing to much?
IMO, after all the torture SolJae went through, they deserved episode 16-hell we all needed it🙊
Episode 15, considering they had to disect around 4 timelines within 1 hour, think they handled it well for the most part. Specially how organic/ gradual Sunjae's transformation was.
guys, why is this kdrama called lovely runner? I think I’m dumb bc I thought it was called that bc at first…
Haha nah you are not dumb! Think most of us came to a similar conclusion at first while the show was airing till they started to reveal all the twists.
Basically: -Sol runs to the past to save Sunjae -Sunjae runs forward to the future (2023 ) to be with his Sol
Does the FL have romantic feelings for the ML at the beginning?
In the original timeline she was only a stan- she loved him and was super devoted (in a respectful manner) but didn't harbour any romantic feelings since even the thought of him liking her back was unthinkable (Sol's POV).
It's after she gets to spend more time with the "real" Sunjae, she truly falls for him. It's very organic and not forced.
I stopped thinking about the show after I finished but one thing keeps bothering me: Seon Jae WOULDN'T commit…
About the randomness of the villain's arc- i wouldn't call it 100% random i guess?
Since the drama revolves around fate and souls in essence, while the villain's reason is random, he still is connected to Sunjae by fate (Sunjae is always an obstacle and this is inevitable). The twist is that Sol was never the issue like we are made to believe but only collateral damage because of her connection to Sunjae🙊
I stopped thinking about the show after I finished but one thing keeps bothering me: Seon Jae WOULDN'T commit…
Sunjae never committed suicide. It was always the taxi driver coming for his revenge.
This was proven in ep 9 when they showed how the driver tried (and failed) to drug Sunjae first with a white rag- difference is ep 1 Sunjae wasn't as strong as ep 8-9 Sunjae (which is why ep 1 Sunjae wasn't stabbed).
For a drama with just 8 episodes, I thought it would have a tight story, but that doesn't seem to be the case.…
But isn't that the whole point of "serendipity"- a faithful/ chance encounter?
I'm guessing we are in store for a whole lot of fateful encounters between these 2 in the next couple of weeks- hopefully it won't go as far as their pre-teens years though 🙊

So where's the bias?

On the bright side, at least you know that your comments are sooooo attractive that haters can't bare it😉
Fighting Chingu💪

Then again this is just my opinion 😊
Sol does run A LOT in the drama ngl🙈
Basically:
-Sol runs to the past to save Sunjae
-Sunjae runs forward to the future (2023 ) to be with his Sol
So together, they are lovely runners 😉
It's after she gets to spend more time with the "real" Sunjae, she truly falls for him. It's very organic and not forced.

At least that's how I see it

Fair warning though, it has a bitter sweet ending
this has a good balance between the BTS in the Entertainment industry, romance, and friendship
Bonus: In Hyuk is in it (as a support character)+ his band's song "Shooting Star" is part of the main OST
Changed it now😊
I'm guessing we are in store for a whole lot of fateful encounters between these 2 in the next couple of weeks- hopefully it won't go as far as their pre-teens years though 🙊
Also, how did you manage to track all the crumbs from the scriptbook on X? Is there one dedicated page or is it random? 🙈🙈🙈
