Exactly! It's almost like he's unconsciously drawn to her and trusts her. This isn't enough to win over the audience though. He needs to redeam himself - make it worth it🙈
Absolutely loved the episode! Only Ji Hyeok can think of buying an elaborate hanging light piece for a tiny bathroom.…
Ooooooh! Looks like your really nailed it Sherlock! The more you look at it, your childhood theory makes more sense. Even the trash tug a war felt soooo juvenile. 🙈
HY and SU do have a lot more in common that we see. If you think about it, he really did see her "bright light" in one episode- the kne where she was playing with Jun? The sunlight behind her made her glow- kind of🙈

HINSTS...it's really good...really traumatizing. It makes 12 Letters feel like a cake walk 🙈🙈🙈
The cast truly delivered but I don't recommend binge watching all at once. The emotional factor is really high....it might actually test your own inner demons 🙈🙈🙈
Avoid spoilers though to truly emerse in the drama! I haven't so much as scrolled below the episode count section of part 2 to avoid spoilers- too afraid since I still don't know if we can hope for a HE🙈

Personally I hope they don't dwel too much on his back story. It doesn't matter how shitty his life was, you can't just go around lighting up fires when ever you want or hit on anybody by using their weaknesses.
Hell for all we know, the mum might have asked the driver not to let him go wherever he wants as a way to protect the world from him 🤣🤣🤣

QOT- i was referring to the SML in it. He kind of went viral in Squid Games 2 and 3 for playing a trans character? I can't recall his name atm/ too lazy to search. He and TY kind of look alike though.
The Yus and Gong Sr are beyond terrible. The fact that they have no empathy at all is astonishing. As for TY and his puny arson ass...🤬🤬🤬 (I just binged ep 7-9 of "Had I not seen the sun-p1" so I'm feeling a little extra murderous now😅😅)
Ragtag team is one way to describe Mother TF 🤭🤭🤭 It's almost endearing how the mothers are now so comfortable around JJ. It's like- He's a jerk BUT he's our Jerk🤣

Oh wow I never looked at SU in that way. It would explain why he clings on to Da Rim in such a desperate- almost childish way🙊
She's been his rock for so long afterall. The SU from ep 1-3 was so calm and mature. I'd like to believe that version of him would have handled her hints and rejection better before he started to manifest 🥲
Did you notice how he always refers to "my family" when he speaks of love? Could that be his driving force too? I can't really remember his confession from yesterday so I can't remember if he actually said why he liked her 🙈
Can someone explain to me exactly what the 🔥plot would accomplish? For the brother, I mean. His family’s…
The brother seems to secretly look down on his parents (hinted in their first scene together). It's not the usual "heir" vibes you usually get from normal chaebol golden children.
We know why JH hates his dad despite the fact the dad's proud of him so perhaps, the brother has his own reasoning too? The Yu parents are controlling afterall so they could have been extremely strict with him too growing up? Specially if his "sociopathic" side is due to a medical condition and not psychological trauma?
Afterall his mum didn't even want him- a grown divorced adult man in his 30s- to take a detour before he went home after coming back to S.Korea.
The fact that they chose HY's office says alot- he even made sure to take Ji Hye (i.e. his trump card) out of the building in advance but didn't give a hoot about his own sister😅
Guess he is evil and efficient - hurt Natural Bebe while being able to spite his parents sounds like a win win.

TY gives a bad name to snakes even honestly.🥲 He low key reminds me of the Shibal guy from Glory in certain angles for some reason (you know the color blind guy who was in QOT as well?)
Go Eun is such a baddie - it was fun seeing her so responsive given how quiet she is usually ❤️ What you said about the characters is so true - they all feel “alive”. It’s probably the reason why we can’t help liking Ha Yeong so much too. You can see their layers. I even loved the office scene when they tried to cheer up the team member who got chewed out by nasty JH. 🤭 It was wholesome and you can feel they really meant it. Everybody has different strengths - you shouldn’t give up over 1 mistake.

IKR?! The writers dropped the ball with the second couple. I almost hope they try to prioritize on her personal growth/ getting independence from her controlling family since she’s literally the Ying to JH’s sister’s Yang. Both have a slightly similar life at the moment but they’ve chosen different paths to fight the injustice. Love can come later naturally even if it has to be SU.
I absolutely adore the 3rd couple - it was fun seeing their bond blossom (or rather watch Kang tag after her like a puppy) in the background so i guess we are going to get more now. Love their “Black Cat meets Golden Retriever” chemistry🤭

She needs a Hail Mary at this point. I want to sympathize with her but it’s difficult, specially when you have HY facing a similar situation as her (if not even worse since her parents and everybody in their circle only see her as a diamond to be sold to highest bidder) but she still keeps trying to forge her own path without hurting anybody.
TMAI 😂 My cheeks hurt and I’m almost sure everybody at home thinks I’m crazy for laughing out loud alone…
I think the biggest clue was at the hospital when he convinced DR’s mum that his mum would love to stay with them by using the exact lines his mother used against him barely 5 minutes earlier🤭
I really loved how JH and his mum interacted together. It was just so wholesome specially since you know the tiniest thing is enough to spook him 🥲

Yes, SU - Seon U
It’s probably nothing, but for the first time since the drama started, in ep 10, he prioritized HY’s safety even though Da Rim was in the same room. He didn’t even glance at her/ hesitate or even hover around like he normally does.
Since coincidentally Da Rim’s mum mentioned how Actions are more important than words, I choose to believe that HY holds a stronger hold on SU than what he realizes. I could be wrong though.
TY = Ha Yeong’s awful brother. He hasn’t interacted with JH or Da Rim directly yet as of ep 10.

I really hope the sister will wake up before it’s too late. I can’t keep holding out candles for SU AND Ji Hye 🙈
I never expected a fire of all things. It was low key funny (in a manic sort of way) because the last time i saw J Ki Yong, it was on Atypical family, and even in it his last couple of scenes involved a fire 🥲
I’m really curious to know how badly did Mother TF get sabotaged during their customer service mission to have mothers petition over it😅

Oops sorry - I deleted the previous message before realizing there was a reply! I totally agree with you! I was so excited because I thought we could enjoy the Second couple’s shenanigans like in Business Proposal but the writer HAD to mess it up with the triangle.
I guess the only good thing about this is jH’s mum got to see JH’s childish side thanks to SU. He definitely gave her a lifetime’s worth of cringe moments 😂
Exactly! His character isn’t bad but was mishandled. HY’s perfect for him. She even appreciates and sees through his art. It’s not just about his “ pretty” face. They could have made a great team together 🥲

Yes even I want this ending. HY deserves somebody to pursuit her with love for a change instead of being the giver. The only way for the writers to work it into the story without messing the it arc further at this point is to give them an optimistic open ending or do a time skip.
I think i phrased it incorrectly previously. He could have loved DR in the past but his feelings could have shifted without noticing. He’s been beyond desperate the last few episodes, practically clinging on to even the smallest thing. The confidant SU showed when he pretended to be her husband is long gone. At the same time we had this one scene where he kind of looked at HY in a different manner while she was with Jun (it was just a second as if to show that even if he finds her annoying, he doesn’t hate it completely). There could be a possibility that the longer HY spends time with JH, the more she becomes part of his life? It’s like what DR used to be but they aren’t really together anymore. A subtle change that you don’t really notice?
Then again I might be deluding myself - again. But honestly I hope whatever they choose to do with their relationship, it’s fair for HY. Nothing half baked/ rebounding.
Seriously- i don't want to waste more than 10 minutes on his nonsense.🙈

Yes! IDK how she realized that she needed to clarify everything with DR🙈
If only we can get at least a special episode after the 14 are out 🫠
