I don’t think he even noticed her going after JH. SU was too busy saving HY - he even forgot about Da Rim and her loudspeaker🤭

Of all the things to expect in ep 10, I didn’t expect that event…that’s all I’ll say for now🤫

I’m beginning to have hope again after listening to DR’s mum’s pep talk and seeing SU’s actions during the last 10minutes or so (being vague since IDK if you watched ep 10 yet). Once you see his actions and recall all the events from ep 10, it gives you hope.

Sometimes people don’t know what they want (i could be trying delude myself but at least it helps)😉

JH’s mum should stop feeling guilty - she’s already repaid every traumatic childhood memory he has by befriending DR’s mum 🤭

Fortunately the writer did just that! He’ll probably spend half of ep 11 in denial but will FINALLY realize the truth that he’s been ignoring all along🤭

Interesting how the fan lore that JH’s sister keeps unintentionally helping JH still holds up (even if the last event wasn’t really her idea).

I’m hoping ep 11 will finally make him see that he has misunderstood his feelings.

The way he behaved with the trash is text book jealousy when you have to share your friend. Meanwhile during that last scene, he only focused on HY. It didn’t occur to him to stay and help Da Rim and most importantly he did not go behind her when she went to look for JH even though this was the one valid time for him to try to stop her for her own safety.

Actions speak louder than words - loved how far the drama went to prove this point for all 4 leads in tonight’s episode.

On a side note, it was interesting how we got to see two underappreciated women deal with rejection. With HY, she keeps taking the high road (boy I wish I could be that optimistic!) while Ji Hye chose to go down a path she already knows she will regret

She did say he's like a brother several times to his face when others teased them.

They are the same age so they don't have to use honorifics such as oppa/ younger bro.

Don't you have any classmates from the opposit sex that you've known them for 20+ years to the point they feel like family? Do you call them brother/ sister too? Even if you are the same age? No right?

If SU can't take a hint, it's on him. I mean she literally laughed at him when he asked her vaguely about looking at him as a man. How more obvious can she be?🤦‍♀️

Since DR didn't get SU's consent to add his name on the application, I'm pretty sure DR deluded herself into believing she could hide it for six months without even him getting involved.

It's a good cautionary tale tbh. What was supposed to be a harmless lie that would have ended in 6 months caused alot of chaos🙈

It's not divorced men but rather SU as a person. She sees him as nothing more than a brother. You like them but you aren't attracted to them.🙈

About the lazy writing- it would have been a waste of limited screen time by including this scene.

They subtly added it to the conversation twice instead. First before the kidnapping she reassured SU that she talked to the cops and that they were looking into it. The second was more direct right from the shark's mouth.

I guess the main issue is translation? With subs you can easily miss conversations if you are not focussed whereas the writer's key audience is Korea so the conversations are less likely to be missed.
It happened to me too - I thought SU was a widow/ his girlfriend left him after giving birth because i missed the point about him being divorced.

NGL I would have loved that - rather get thrown out of the car than go with them. It would have been interesting seeing as the sharks don't seem to be that bright.

Then again you never know with sharks (I'm watching "Had I not seen the sun" these days and the sharks in it are close to being psychotic so I might be abit bias atm)

That's true. I found it quite smart for a change tbh. It's the safest approach given the circumstances. The black card is meant to make life easier 😉

If he did beat the sharks up, there's also a potential plot hole as well since they would have to mention that the police were called to arrest the sharks for kidnapping (or some viewers will wonder about that as well). During the incident report, JH could find out that Da Rim is not married since she can't lie to the police in front of him😅

In ep 4 during the kidnapping. The main shark told her how he fell into a tight spot because she reported him to the police. This was right before they dragged her into the car.

Haha 5 was just a random guess - i barely paid attention to the other goons 🙈

Still as thrilling it would be to watch JH beat the crap out of them, it would be unrealistic since the sharks have weapons with them. I personally don't mind but some viewers tend to complain about these things too in the name of clichè😅

The way he even forgot his precious mother for a while there??? Proof that you can adore your mum but still not end up being a momma’s boy 🤭

He’s too funny - as if he’s reclaiming all those lost years from his childhood🤭

JH’s priority is DR’s safety and not to be a vigilante by having a completely unrealistic cliche 1 against 5 fight with the sharks😅
The police is already aware of the harassment too.
