The only thing that was literally annoying here is that Darim’s sister completely vanished and we never got…
She's probably in hiding out of shame (or whatever personal 💩 her husband is going through). If the sister was willing to hide Da Rim's unemployment status, her own hypocracy/ shameful behavious must feel a 1,000 times worse. Afterall even Da Rim was surprised in ep 14 when the mum said she had "two" good daughters after everything they went through because of the sister.
Also eventhough the debt potion that affected Da Rim and her mum has been solved we don't know the real extent. The sister and husband might have taken other loans/ scammed others before using up the family savings/ home as collateral. Da Rim's objective was only to save the house, escape the loan sharks, and save her mum. Not to clear all the sister's debt.
It's me... Spoilers please.1. What episode do they get together.2. Any breakups (which episode and for how long).3…
Something good- the side characters.
Usually I'm only invested in the main couple but with this drama I found myself enjoying and even sympathizing with majority of the side characters. The SFL specially took me by surprise since ep 1 promised the typical selfish spoilt princess type but her true self blew my mind (not to dynamite levels though🤣). Even when she did certain questionable things, I still couldn't help rooting for her as an individual.
All the mothers in the drama too were really wholesome unlike typical toxic K-mums. Some of them had their flaws (at least at one point in their life) but their character development was handled really well.
One tip: the experience is better if you watch the drama through all 4 lead characters' perspectives. Specially in Da Rim's case since majority of her true feelings are shown through very subtle guestures (almost like hints and clues) instead of the loud approach that was used with JH.
Ep 13 is quite weak ngl but it's mainly because the ep 13 preview had too many important spoilery scenes so there was nothing surprising.
Ep 14 is fine depending on who you ask. It's tropey and a bit unserious compared to the serious tone they had during ep 3-9. But the final conclusion is satisfying depending on who you ask.
Honestly it depends on what you enjoy about the drama and K-romcoms in general.
Yes, HY's actress did a brilliant job. She truly brought the character to life. The second couple's ending isn't really that bad. It's just at the beginning of the drama (ep 2 or so), most viewers thought the second couple was guaranteed like in Business Proposal but it wasn't the case.
I personally don't mind that they got an open ending and am just glad that they are happy and xlearly close.
ALL THE KDRAMA TROPES! But I absolutely loved this. My only complaint is why was Ha Yeong still pursuing Seon…
She's not (or at least SU has given her permission to pursuit him given the way he laughed along with her like he found her hilarious). They are now genuinely close whatever they are instead of the previous forced contact
Also i really hoped that could be little more stretch to 16ep , about what happened to darim sister, and did seonu…
HY and SU's relationship status is open ended so you can choose their ending but we know for sure that they are at the very least truly comfortable with eachother enough to joke around at least.
She is excellent here. She is portraying a charming, but inexperienced person, who learned how to be a hard worker…
Red tape in Cdramas have lowered my expectations to the point that even an implied happy ending is acceptable at this point (but this is only with C-dramas)🙈 Binged it overnight? I must ask - how did you survive the next day??😱
Thing with SOM is I seem to have confused this drama with another drama called “When I meet the moon”, based on a novel written by the same author of WIFTY/ HL/ TFF (so my expectations are high). I still want to give it a chance for Jin Mai but not sure how long I’ll last 🙈
Speed and Love - yes, cutesy voices don’t suit the theme of this drama. I’ve seen some pretty trashy plots but the FL usually manages to balance the “I’m so fragile” vs. “I love trouble” vibe but here it’s too awkward.🙈Then again, it’s quite difficult to find romance dramas in general
It's an interesting take too. I just loved how they looked so comfortable together for a change. A genuine chuckle instead of SU giving his usual constipated stare when ever HY brings up her feelings
exactly..... AND where has she been all the sudden when everything blew up in the house where she lived right…
She left during the beginning of ep 13 long before the scandel. The prototype baby test scene was part of her farewell party (JH's mum thanked JH for giving her the best going away present by confessing his feelings to DR's mum at the time).
I was actually happy when I heard that Ji Hyeok was going to lose his memories because I thought that finally…
He regressed back to ep 1 "I hate love" Ji Hyeuk. Nothing Da Rim did would have convinced him of their love. No wonder he clearly told her to leave him alone, claiming that their whole relationship was "temporary insanity". 🙈
It's even rather karmic in a way. A lie split them up initially and now it's the truth seeing as no matter how many times DR and even his bestfriend tried to convince him, JH wouldn't accept it.
It was always going to tropey but at least they added their own interpretation to it.
You will (probably) love the mums. Her story is sad but she gets a good redemption arc (all the mums really).
