If you mean Ji Hyeok, then yes, LOL. Not him dismissing his intense feelings for Da Rim during his amnesiac phase,…
IKR?! I kept getting flashback of all the complaints so I found the scene funny instead of bittersweet๐น
On a serious note though I'm glad they didn't force DR to chase after JH even after he asked her not to. You need space to think. Being smothered with memories not relevant to your current version is a different kind of torture.
Come on, the writer might have butchered the main love story in the middle but they still had far superior chemistry…
Exactly. At the very least they are close enough to joke around. Even HY didn't have her usual vibe if you get what I mean. So for those who want them to be together, they might someday and for those who don't want them to, there's the comfort of knowing that HY and SU's familiarity means that HY is still friends with Jun๐
Come on, the writer might have butchered the main love story in the middle but they still had far superior chemistry…
True. Even I wanted them to be together before the love triangle was forced on SU's character.
But seeing as the writer chose to go with it, I'm glad at least he didn't choose the typical clichรฉ where the SU suddenly realises he's in love with HY.
NGL I feel the writer introduced the SML for the sole purpose of rage baiting the audience - even the airport scene was practically a prank๐
Well i read the comments and there just about what U'd expect. This drama could have been so much more and the…
I for one am glad the second couple weren't forced into being a couple. The ending is ambiguous enough to intepret that whatever they are at least their toxic connection is no longer present. They are relaxed and happy ๐

The writer also didn't force the second couple together which is great. They are in a better position where they can joke together (instead of SU looking trapped and uncomfortable/ HY looking like she's ready to pounce). Way better than them suddenly being lovey dovey even with a timeskip.
If you don't mind : -thropes and cliches -Cinderella themed dramas -love triangles (or square rather since except for the MC, the others have one sided crushes)
- plots that revolve around lies and misunderstandings since this is the main plot
...and you don't take dramas seriously, it's worth giving a few episodes a chance and decide on your own.
The cast is good and they do try to add their own modern twist with certain thropes. You are not going to learn anything new but it's good to chill (as long as you don't take fictional stories seriously).
Unfortunately people like to make themselves watch things they absolutely hate just so they could express their…
Sorry if I sounded offenisve. You actually didn't come into mind when I said "certain individuals".
In fact I even find some of the negative comments really funny and truly enjoyable like the sarcastic scenario comments from the user with Cash in their name. And I do agree with some complaints as well since this isn't an original drama.
But there are others who come here just to comment the *same* old rant every week (it's almost predictable what to expect) just to sound superior. Once or twice is understandable, but it's the same thing every week. I guess I wish if the complaints were more unique and varied from week to week at least if the purpose of ranting the same old thing is to judge the other users.
Yes, I can just ignore or block said comments, but the curious side of me can't help wander why one would waste time *every* week to write the same long rant about an obvious thrope like Cinderella.
Even I now avoid Cinderella thropes usually since it's the same old script rehashed and the thrope is quite outdated. I'm just in it for the cast and I'm curious to see if the second couple's story will be handled the way I hope (since my initial theory before the triangle was introduced crashed and burned๐ ).

Getting paid to complain sounds like a dream job ngl ๐คญ
I agree with you. Even I am not completely satisfied with some of the side plots but it's nothing unexpected. The moment Cinderella thrope is introduced in a drama, you know what to expect. It's a tale as old as time across the globe. Not worth wasting your precious time over (hell there are way worse cinderella thrope dramas out there worth focusing on) ๐

Glad you are enjoying it in your own way.
With hate-watching, I find it redundant since the drama's views still increase unless you hate-watch dramas via pirate sites.
Even if you do pirate the episodes, the free publicity still helps the drama since at least one person would try it just to see why it's attracting hate-watchers. It's like willingly walking into the writer's "trap".

Complaainig is completely fine- that's what MDL is for. It's a free world so people can do whatever makes them happy ๐
Then again, unless somebody subscribed to Netflix just to watch DK (or another disappoining drama), I truly can't understand why anybody would willingly hurt themself EVERY week. ๐
It was obvious the drama will be thropey from ep 3 onwards (ep 1 onwards actually if you add the Cinderella theme). There are many new dramas released in NF alone every few weeks too. Same with internet- plenty of options. If a person willingly choses to watch something they clearly hate and have no expectations every week, it's not on the drama. It's a choice.๐
PS: I'm not referring to all the users btw- just a select few who have made it their mission to hate it since week 1 and have been loyally posting every week (even more than those who enjoy the show).

Honestly I don't get why people would be so motivated to waste their time this badly just to add a weekly rant. I understand the ones who got disappointed mid series but I've seen some users bellyaching since ep 2-3 at least as if their lives depended on it.๐
Since October alone there were at least 2 K-romcoms I dropped after the first week eventhough both were highly anticipated and I liked the main cast. I simply removed them from my list as soon as I realized the 6 week journey wasn't worth it. There are so many dramas out there- why waste your time from the beginning eh?
oh jesus lmao i was just about to continue with ep4, now seeing all the spoilers ๐ฌ is it still worth finishing…
If you enjoy K-romcoms in general and don't really care about thropes, it's worth giving a try. I personally enjoyed watching the story through all their perspectives.
The story itself isn't new but the actors do a really good job. They do add their own twist personally since it's been a while since I saw "forbidden love" as part of the main romcom plot. If you don't like lying and misunderstandings and take dramas seriously, this might not work for you.

HY doesn't deserve to be a rebound.
(Haven't watched My Dearest yet)
Does he have a time machine? So unserious๐คฃ
I guess Seoul peak traffic hours must feel like a KitKat break for Super Da-Rim - so yum ๐ช ๐
