It's great if you love gaslighting, lies, & deceit. Oh and what's better than brutal loan sharks getting generously…
About the lazy writing- it would have been a waste of limited screen time by including this scene.
They subtly added it to the conversation twice instead. First before the kidnapping she reassured SU that she talked to the cops and that they were looking into it. The second was more direct right from the shark's mouth.
I guess the main issue is translation? With subs you can easily miss conversations if you are not focussed whereas the writer's key audience is Korea so the conversations are less likely to be missed. It happened to me too - I thought SU was a widow/ his girlfriend left him after giving birth because i missed the point about him being divorced.

NGL I would have loved that - rather get thrown out of the car than go with them. It would have been interesting seeing as the sharks don't seem to be that bright.
Then again you never know with sharks (I'm watching "Had I not seen the sun" these days and the sharks in it are close to being psychotic so I might be abit bias atm)

That's true. I found it quite smart for a change tbh. It's the safest approach given the circumstances. The black card is meant to make life easier 😉
If he did beat the sharks up, there's also a potential plot hole as well since they would have to mention that the police were called to arrest the sharks for kidnapping (or some viewers will wonder about that as well). During the incident report, JH could find out that Da Rim is not married since she can't lie to the police in front of him😅

In ep 4 during the kidnapping. The main shark told her how he fell into a tight spot because she reported him to the police. This was right before they dragged her into the car.
Haha 5 was just a random guess - i barely paid attention to the other goons 🙈
Still as thrilling it would be to watch JH beat the crap out of them, it would be unrealistic since the sharks have weapons with them. I personally don't mind but some viewers tend to complain about these things too in the name of clichè😅

JH’s priority is DR’s safety and not to be a vigilante by having a completely unrealistic cliche 1 against 5 fight with the sharks😅 The police is already aware of the harassment too.
I love how this is turning into a reunion show for the cast of My Dearest! This show is still one of my tops out…
Does My Dearest have a HE? I wanted to watch it but saw comments that it was bitter sweet (I can't recall if this was before part 2 was released though).
He's into mergers and acquisitions of companies. Several users predict that his objective is to takeover Natural…
Haha! The writer really compensated him big time given how much trauma he went through previously eh?🤭
If you think about it, he doesn't need to go through the usual chaebol family disapproval arc even. The mum already loves them together and he couldn't care less about the dad if the divorce foes through. Even HY isn't an obstacle thanks to SU 🤭🤭🤭
I'm beginning to think that if Seon U watched "Love in the Clouds" (2025 Cdrama), he would probably root for the SML in it. Birds of a feather and all🙈
I know he'll probably come to his senses before it's too late, but the similarities are almost too hard to ignore. From "my saviour bestie" to "be MY wife"🙈
I can understand if DR at least visibly does anything remotely with him that could be considered as leading on but nada- there's a clear boundary. At most she's like Jun's fun aunt. Most of her actions show that she values SU's friendship and cares for him like a brother but she doesn't expect more.

IKR?! I love it! Finally a ML who can't cook like a pro 🤣
I joked about "mum senses tingling" that could encourage the mums to meddle in one of the comments yesterday- boy was i wrong. Even the blind can see how silly JH has become 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t imagine many of them were defending his actions like seriously?😭They say he just wanted to be loved…
He's got a gorgeous rich young woman who loves him and is even willing to cook, appreciates his profession, and pamper his kid....what more love does he need?🙈
They even believe in the same love philosophy🤣
At this point, bro is just enjoying his comfort zone a little too hard by pretending to be blind and deaf. I understand falling for your bestie but DR is way too vocal about how she sees him to not understand😅
I’d say a better comparison to the complaint on ep 9 is Hy’s kiss from a few episodes back. She was technically…
Exactly! Not all romcoms should end up with a couple. If they need 2 couples, we have Mr Kang and the single mum also if the hints are to be believed 🤭
Hy's the perfect candidate for the standard Kdrama "self development" arc. Single but acclaimed.
I am really close to being done with SU. Pre-release doesn't help either but let's see🙈
Today's episode does look pretty chaotic🤭

He’s too funny - as if he’s reclaiming all those lost years from his childhood🤭
The police is already aware of the harassment too.
SML is a bit of a pill towards the end but the MC are great together. Kinda cheesy at times but the angst is handled quite well.
Don't look for spoilers though to enjoy the full experience 🤫

It honestly took me a moment to realize the green carnage was from a kiwi🙈
IKR? He was sooo proud? And his poor mum 🙈🤭
Poor SU...it's one thing to know that DR and JH might be upto something in the same building....but in your own living room? During YOUR luncheon??🤣🤣🤣

But the pre-release looks fun since even the mums are now involved🤭
