The main problem is DR refuses to accept the fact that JH likes her. She keeps justifying his actions by calling him kind or being a devoted fiance. She also still needs her job since she has to now pay JH and the hospital bills.

I really hope sshe tells him next week at least. It looks like JH will confront her so there is no point continuing the charade.

Sorry for butting in-What the candidates didn't know was that only the worst would be hired by the sister. Da Rim was hired because of her zero experience and over the top enthusiasm since the sis thought she would irritate JH. The other mothers too probably performed badly. For instance, the older mother has a reputation for quitting her job barely months in. She'd be perfect to sabotage JH's test since there was a chance she'd probably abandon work. This was true since we already saw the mum had to leave her role right before the livestream event.

He can't ask her why her husband was kissing another woman.....his own mother lost her mind because his father cheated, obviously he would be careful when handling similar matters.

He's also under the impression that after her "meltdown" in Jeju, Da Rim and Seon U reconciled their marrital problems. He already thinks that Da Rim crashed out in Jeju and dated him during a moment of insanity because of her meltdown. Bringing up a new issue would probablyhurt her even more.

As for the FL, she needs the job, not just because of the loans. This is literally her first adult job. She wants to protect her mum so she can't go back to her old life. The job is only for 6 months and it's already made public that it would not go beyond that. The experience could help her out in the future.

Confessing to the chairman's son would mean that she would either get fired or drag him to her level if he wants to hide it to protect her. She's already trying hard not to trouble him (even if her plans never work).

He doesn't care about what the ML wants since he's just a rival.
He doesn't know the extent of Da Rim's feelings.
-Is she just grateful for her boss and just doesn't want to trouble SU becaause he's her bff

-does she have a small crush on her boss (if it's a small crush, it would make sense why SU is working so hard to clear the crush away)

-is it something more serious for her?


For now it's fair game in his pov but I think after ep 8 he can sense that Da Rim's feelings might be stronger than what's implied (in his defence, half the audience also keeps complaining that DR isn't showing enough love so kind of understandable why SU hasn't noticed either). This is probably why he nearly panicked and confessed but changed his mind.

SU's actions in ep 9 will test how toxic/ how much of a good friend he is since it's clear Da Rim will not be able to surpress her feelings anymore.

I really wish if she could find out about his trauma. It's morally wrong of course, but JH's reaction goes beyond what you would normally come across because od his personal experience. I'm sure if she knew just how badly he's affected, she would have told him.

Even now, she's justifying his rage by thinking it's because she insulted his fiancee 🥲

She needed the job desperately. If you are going to lie for it, might as well cover all the boxes so she can guarantee a place. Afterall not all candidates were selected.

She never intended to involve Seon U (aside for the application). Things got complicated because she met her colleague at the supermarket and even worse after HY brought SU into the company.

Afterall there was no requirement by her job to actually bring her husband and son to her workplace. She didn't even talk about them unless someone else brought them up.

Most importantly, she never imagined she would bump into JH there since he was supposed to be a consultant, not the future successor of a baby products company. Her social circle is so small due to her hermit life and it was only for 6 months afterall so not many know her situation.

Not saying that she did a good thing by lying about her marriage in her cv, but it's kind of understandable.

Espers- the latest episode was one of the best ngl. I almost feel bad for Mr K but honestly what did he expect by messing with the past? 🥲 I'm really looking forward to Shion finding out the truth. He's so reckless atm (so swventeen!) And Osuke seems to be in trouble so I really hope they get to reconcile before it's too late 🙈

Yesss what you said makes sense. He knows that she has been swayed. He just needs to know WHY has she resisted him for so long.

Figuring out why she lied to get the job isn't rocket science if he actually looks at her CV again with a fresh perspective, specially since he knows her family's situation.

Ep 8-tonight's episode. The ML finally finds out that the FL has been lying. Ep 9 will probably clear the rest.

The misunderstanding is easier to digest if you look at both their POVs. It can be a bit triggering though from the ML's end since his childhood trauma is his father's infidelity. So him being hung up over a "married" woman kind of messes with his inner demons since he tries his best to fight his feelings. Meanwhile, the FL has too much on her plate to notice that the ML loves her until it's too late.

Despite the heavy theme, most of the episodes have been fun so far (except for this week since without angst you can't really build the foundation for the revelations arc).

Ikr?? When I watched ep 1, never imagined I'd be a fan of HY and find myself grimacing everytime I see SU🙈

I want to hope he'd change but honestly it doesn't seem like it. He even now knows 90% of JH's actions and can sense DR's frustration but he refuses to connect the dots😤

How many episodes worth of misunderstandings can you tolerate? If it's less than 50% of the drama, then this might irritate you since this is the main plotline.

I personally love the drama tho.

It's their first salary so that's 1 month + I saw a post on X where somebody calculated how long they were apart before reuniting at the company and it was around 1.5 months if I remember correctly

The problem is Da Rim still doesn't get the fact that Seon U likes her. All his lame attempts have been rebuffed to the point you actually have to wonder if DR even knows that he's a guy🙈🙈🙈

She's probably too embarrased to talk about Jeju with him? Or may be she's just respecting JH's wishes to keep things quiwt since he definitely doesn't want anybody to know about Jeju.

Now that Da Rim thinks that JH wants to protect HY, DR's self esteem issues will end up digging a bigger grave for herself 🙈

I hope she's able to handle the eventual confrontation.🙈

I love how in ep 8, JH actually brought up the fact that he's always busy saving Da Rim- it almost felt like the writer was poking fun at themselves🤣

Seeing as JH went through so much, they can't really contine with the subtle torture for Da Rim. I wonder how things will prpceed from ep 9 onwards🙃

Ep 9 is going to be harsh for Da Rim but Ep 10 gives me hope. Surely JH wouldn’t turn on her after their own epic umbrella scene right?? Black umbrellas do not mean anything right? The only one I could think of atm is OG timeline Sunjae with his black umbrella,,,and we know how things ended for him 🥲🙈
