The ML's father tries to separate them by giving them a reality check towards the end of the drama but they overcome it together. The family dynamic of the ML is quite similar to DK's (only the dad is more reasonable).

I wasn't really aware of Junho or Yoona before the drama so I guess it helped. Their chemistry sells the story.

Chances are Ha Yeong might tell the truth now since JH knows the main lie. Afterall SU only told her to not to let JH know about her marriage status. So the promise will not be broken.

JH knows that HY knows something so he will probably pressure her into telling the whole truth. Perhaps the fake office kiss too might be connected to this?🙈

I guess if it's too annoying, might as well try something else. They've FINALLY released more new dramas during the last few weeks.

I personally liked KTL but I think you need to be in the right mood. It's a bit too webtoon/ fairytale coded so unless you are in the mood it might come of as cliche. The best part about KTL was the fact that unlike with most chaebol dramas, the ML never broke up with her and they don't drag misunderstandings.

In Da Rim's pov, she understandably thought only the best would get selected so she probably thought being married would give her an advantage - it was only for 6 months afterall (fair enough since South Korea is notorious for looking down on single parents at least in dramaland).

In reality, the sister created the team with the intension of sabotaging JH. So marriage status didn't matter. Single parents actually worked better for her plan since in her POV they'd be less reliable due to their responsibilities with their kids. Da Rim was selected since she came off as ditzy, over enthusiastic, and unexperienced which would under normal circumstances irritate somebody like JH.

What she did was definitely wrong. She's too scared to tell the truth for whatever reason.

I guess we'll find out in ep 9

Yes, I really hated how he handled that conversation in the car. Regardless of her feelings and his insecurities, he KNOWS why Da Rim lied in the first place and how desperate she was. He also knows how she has been unemployed and her trauma. He shouldn't have told her to quite. That was my last straw with him honestly 😅

Ep 9's preview sounds pretty bad for SU but let's see 🙈

He did ask her why she targetted him in one of the initial episodes. She told him how she had a fight with her husband and ran off to Jeju because of it and the reason why she agreed to go out with him was because she got caught up in her role. JH didn't like her excuse so he told her to quit her job.

He made it explicitly clear that he felt uncomfortable working with someone who deceived and manipulated him. He only stopped trying to get her to leave after he found out her family situation.
