Yes, it's definitely terrible that both siblings are treating the mothers like sacrificial lambs for their own selfish reasons but the Kiss has nothing to do with it. If anything, she messed up his plan to half ass his role the moment she joing the team. Every time he tries to put Da Rim in an impossible position, the sister's team thinks it's him being overly ambitious for the company🙈.

He was never planning to work with the team and the sister lied to the mothers about the permanent position. The sister just made things ironically easier for him to half ass everything by picking the least qualified staff.

I mean if the team was made up of qualified staff who know exactly what to expect from the company, they would all be after him to get work. The mums are more vulnerable so aside from the snide comments behind his back, they can't really do much.

Honestly I'm just HOPING that this was the hottest sport back when they were kids (since they are around the same age) and both had their own reasons to learn to protect their loved ones.

I'm not sure which scene you are referring to but it's probably out of concern- her situation is pretty dire atm between the loan sharks, the falsified job, and bullying Team leader, but she isn't really letting him help either financially so all he can do is give moral support (until he can get a good gig like the one from the SFL that would pay him enough that Da Rim wouldn't feel uncomfortable to take his money).😊

Seon U and the SFL are a done deal. There has to be a spark for the story to move into a new direction (ngl the writer really wants to drive poor JH mad🙈)

Does it have an Open Ending?

JH doesn't believe in love so eventhough he has dated (and probably kissed) before, it was nothing serious- superficial like his friend said in ep 1.

Da Rim is like a tsunami that hit him out of nowhere- he didn't even have a chance to gaslight himself into not falling for her (you know the usual CEO " I could never never NEVER fall for you even if you are the last person on earth" BS)🙈

I thought we were talking about the FL's POV? For the punch that really is it from Da Rim's end. It was JH's choice to punch him and even if it was a calculated risk, there's no regret. Besides, even if he didn't have feelings for her, he'd still step in to intervene when the ex got too handsy. Perhaps not that aggressively but he won't just ignore either since she was his hire. If he says there was no damage done to his investor, that's pretty much all that matters.


About the kisses- even JH dismissed the first kiss on the rooftop since she previously made it clear that she only kissed him to distract the ex. About the rest, JH is justifiably mad at her and has reprimanded her already several times now. From Da Rim's end she did try to apologize but because she can't tell the truth, there is no way she could make him feel better. She can't even tell him that she fled because of her mother since that would actually make her look worse (it's better to look like she chickened out instead of further confirming that she would have hooked up with him if it wasn't for the call). Sure, she shouldn't dismiss their moment and compare it to something as trivial as ping pong but now her objective is to keep her job no matter what.

It doesn't really matter if the ex is influential. Even in the real world, certain high profile companies make sure their representatives aren't just experts in their field but also need to ensure they aren't potential liabilities to the brand image. It's common knowledge specially in South Korea where cancel culture is the norm. To an ordinary person like Da Rim, JH's nonchalant response was acceptable enough.

Da Rim did feel bad about the incident but what more can she do if JH won't accept her apology?

Da Rim knows about the investment side behind the punch since when she apologized for ruining his pitch, JH comforted her by telling that the incident was helpful since personalities like the Ex's could cause bigger problems in the future. He obviously mostly said that to comfort her but to Da Rim, it probably was an acceptable reason.

Da Rim practically has PTSD from her past interview experience. Between the constant belittling and verbal harrasment she got from her past interviews as well as the harsh comments from her ex, her confidence was practically shredded. She had potential (as we can see with the way she works with the Mother TF team) but all this time she was too afraid that she'll get hurt again.

I don't think so. For one thing, he's still uncomfortable to talk about Jun's mum (he was extremely nervous when the SFL asked about her when they first met). The other reason is because none of the usual romantic jnterest clues are there. He values their friendship and practically grew up together. He just cares about her.

It really is great that the drama decided to not include a love triangle with either the SFL or the SML. They don't even really need it since we got the "jealous SML" thrope through EP 1/2 via the ex.🙈

They might go for a short tease with something like in "when the phone rings" perhaps? In it, the wife pretends to be a blackmailer to harrass her cold husband but eventually he figures out that she's the blackmailer so he starts to flirt outrageously with the blackmailer....much to the wife's disgust since she thinks he's really trying to cheat on her with the "blackmailer".

That way you have the pseudo cheating thrope while also promoting how disgusting it is.

Both are going through a terrible time.

Da Rim is fighting a battle she doesn't even have to (I'm referring to the loans in general/ not the mum) and she even took the step to fight against her trauma to get the internship. She already has made her choice to go ahead with the lie despite the fact she feels guilty about it (she even apologized to her dead dad for lying). After all that, she's not going to give up just because some guy wants her to. She likes him but she doesn't have the luxury to pick him over her worries at the moment- specially since she still doesn't know just how much he cares for her. Barely 2 days shouldn't be enough to make someone fall for a mediocre person (in her POV).

Similarly JH has every right to hate her since in his POV she nearly made him do the one thing he absolutely loathes- behave like his father. He fell for her hard but doesn't even have the chance to get over her since she's always right there.

Now that JH has turned the tables, Da Rim will have more to think about. The way her eyes shined with regret when he agreed to forget about their time together says it all🥲🙈

She will definitely do it (or at least try to) once she cam trust him. At the moment, all his actions make her feel cautious. After all she doesn't really know him. The way she is constantly surprised by how much he cares (ex: the clover leaf trinket) kind of explains why she couldn't tell him in the beginning. She saw herself as somw rich guy's summer fling so it wasn't really worth risking her secret at the time.

They'll probably solve this by ep 6- beginning of 7 probably. Since the SFL also knows that the SML is single and she will be meeting Da Rim in ep 5, they can't drag it for too long now.
