ktraumas would always find a way to come to us. no exceptions either
Ohhhh...so M was a real person who died? I saw comments how Sang Hak was trans but I don't know which SH were they referring to š
I'm beginning to wonder now if M was CSH's alternate surpressed self and he had to let go due to his parents strict upbringing orrrrr were they referring to KSH š
I like this series. I finished just now but i still have questions...Wher is Mu Yan?What did they say to the king…
General - she was the remaining (and honestly the most suitable even including Han) choice left since Han no longer was eligible. Guess the Qi arenāt as misogynistic about being led by a woman as initially assumed š
First of all, I kind of wondered if I watched a different version than everyone else, cause I felt like the plot…
Totally agree with you on this. I was expecting worse but the general plot was pretty good for the most part.
The romance- given the āhappy-go-luckyā general light hearted atmosphere of the drama, it kind of gets better once you assume that the drama was made for a general audience (including kids) I guess - at least that sort of helped me in the latter episodesš

True - i just didnāt expect another camera related trauma so soonš„²šš
I was ready for the FLās death (Iām guessing the terminal FL dies at the end) just didnāt expect that thereād be more causalities so soon into the dramaš
There's so many comments about age gap, and I get it... but is it just me that aside from the simple number, I…
The age gap compatibility honestly makes sense if you think about it. Taiga was forced to grow up too soon so he is mature beyond his years (despite his shenanigans) whereas Manami for the most part has a sheltered upbringing. If you compare her with even her friend, you can see there is a huge gap between them psychologically even if they probably were quite close to the same age.
I'm predicting that the FL is gonna somehow pull the King to the future with her just as he's about to be killed.
Ngl this could be a possibility since the book seems to be a time portal given how even her bag was transported into the pastš¤
I wonder how he will solve his identity issue though (since he will have nothing in the future) unless they end the drama before these complications come in š
Honestly Iām more surprised that he kept her alive at all. Sheās frail and old afterall? Not exactly difficult…
I agree with you. At the very least she must have been framed in such a way that it seemed that in the eyeās of the Dowager, his mother was a traitor at the time (similar to Yeongās predicament with the crown prince in ep 10).
I feel like there is romance but itās slow burn. Imagine a slow cooker kind of love instead of a microwave kind…
Itās not because he first liked her (at least I donāt recall hearing her say that). She got to know him and saw a side of him that the history she knew didnāt show. He wasnāt ruthless and did care for his subjects. And he as an individual while was a bit pushy (occupational hazard when you are a king), he still means well.
Oh, how I hate the ''Oh you like me? Then I'll like you too'' romance plotline, it often feels like an obligation…
She kept hallucinating him whenever she looked at the moon since the last few episodes. I guess she could be at odds? Since her mind says that heās a promiscuous tyrant but her heart knows that thereās more to his story? Sheās been in denial for a long time now.
TBF the king cannot just start a relationship with his royal cook. We need to be mindful of the existing political…
I donāt know but I did see a few comments on how either the novel/ webtoon has a SE. This is extremely unreliable though since Iāve also seen positive comments as well. So my guess is either we are going to be completely traumatized in the past and future OR weāll be traumatized in the past but will get a worthy HE (would love it if both the past and future have positive endings but I feel that would be too much to hope for)š
The webtoon is easy to find but Iāve been trying to be patient by completely ignoring it so far - just 6 days more afterall eh?š

š Yes! If they are going for a tragic ending, I guess in hindsight the focus on food over romance was actually a smart idea-the pain will be lessš„²

Same here - I still havenāt found complete peace with 2521ās ending even (and itās been years)š

Iām curious to know if the Dowager Grandmother has any inkling on this at all - that at least if she is alive?
