They planned three seasons from the very beginning. The second season doesn't really finish the story, but the…
I just love how they wrapped season 3

If you really think about it, it makes sense why only Ann and Usagi were still tempted to go back to the borderland even after 5 years once you listen to the others' stories.

Yeah
Even in the previous games in S2 and S1, Arisu and Usagi were able to defeat the "final boss" as a team right (I can't remember now)? Guess Arisu represented all of the remaining team players?

Since everybody else by default stayed on the edge instead of getting washed away, they too were considered as winners?🙈

Season 4 coming out?
It's over.

They might have an American spinoff but I'm not sure. The easteregg at the end might have been just their way of saying that borderland is available everywhere in the world🙈

So cringe how they added the unborn child as a character. LolToo much drama brought on towards the ending. Makes…
The unborn baby's position here is a manifestation of their subconscience. That's why the baby wasn't counted in any of the other games since Usagi wasn't aware. It was only after Arisu and Usagi were together, it got counted (since Arisu would be aware of his unborn child).

What I'm really annoyed is how they ruined FL's character in this season. Usagi is one of my favourite FL characters…
To be fair, throughout S1 and S2, Usagi was having a hard time dealing with her dad's death. Considering she lost all her memories from the borderline and is still harrased by the public, it's not a surprise that she is still depressed about it.

What's great about Usagi is despite her struggles she still is true to herself and fights for wverybody- not just for herself.

(Leaving Arisu for the games was her way of trying to save their relationship in the longrun before her depression began to takeover her entire life)

IAM sorry for spamming but he literally had his Joseon accent in the future....we need a spin off because how…
I love the fine details - his accent and her sword scar. 🙊

The way they showed Yeong waking up almost looked like her soul went back to her….sooooo what if the King essentially took over his present day doppelgänger’s body? Imagine the chaos!🤭

I am really happy about the ending but left out those 2 people didn’t go to the future 😭😭
Technically only the king (and Yeon) went back to the future. The rest are coincidences - either descendants or doppelgangers.

Last night's episode really makes you think....how much of history is true?

The saying "History is written by winners" resonates even more today 🥲

Hoping for the best though....just a few more hours left till D-day🙈

This was such a good watch. But I cannot get over J-C-K-dramas almost always making a way out for truly despicable…
The father really is a piece of work but I guess at least they kept him true to his character (at least as of ep 10).

Students - Guess that’s the perk of having rich parents who can control the school board. Rather hypocritical of the Vice principal honestly considering how she constantly claims that she wants to nurture ideal students when she has made the school environment one rife with bullying and privilege mentality.

This is so brutal, WW2 is very graphic here. Aren't asadoras meant for family viewing? I wouldn't let my kid watch…
WW scenes tend to be brutal in Asadoras from my experience. I watched "Oshin" as a kid and some scenes still haunt me. It's an interesting perspective to see war in the eyes of regular people. It's a brutal reminder that beyond "glory and honour"- there's also sacrifice and pain...and sometimes lack of choice as well as facing the consequences 🥲

How does one find a green flag like Hiroshi San?🤔
He's the true MVP (as of week 5) 🙈

It's that lingering feeling that something is missing in their lives. Arisu got proper closure after season 2.…
The epilogue interview suggested they did find peace.

Kuina for instance found peace in s2 itself since her family finally accepted her. Chishiya too didn't really look that traumatized from what I recall in S2. Bringing them back would be cruel to the characters 🙈

I was like 'what? are they allergic to kiss?' whenever I saw the main couple. But I saw the actress is actually…
I think it's symbolic of how long they've been together? 5 years right? So they've moved from their honeymoon phase to a different more cozy phase together in their life- it's all in their eyes.

It might also be a japanese thing perhaps- don't really recall seeing that many long term married couples in Jdramas showing alot of PDA (at least in slice of life dramas). Even in Mare, Tao and Kento barely had any PDA after they got married.🙈

it's short and sweet. all of the games were very cruel as before lol but the last game I couldn't understand ONE…
There was a comment below suggesting that the whole point of the Alice tag at the end is just to hint that Borderland has game arenas across the world? So we won't get a new spin off but it's good food for thought.

Even we can end up in Borderland 🙈

It’s out now
Yes- ep 12 is mostly like an epilogue episode.

They resolved all issues by ep 11 so ep 12 is very slice of life.

Think it's something to do with the fact they just lost their parents. The sister must have been hit particularly…
People handle grief differently.

The sister seems to be a shell of a person- she was practically robotic even in the previous games, following her brother's instructions without any question. Perhaps, the future we saw was the future she wanted because her brother wanted it? Both were grieving but the sister seems to be out of touch compared to all the other characters. Even when the brother kept losing points, she didn't seem to have the energy to insist that they use her's as well as opposed to all the other characters. Since we know she loved him, there must be more to it.

The brother deserved more but unfortunately life isn't fair 🥲

People got so obsessed with their favourite characters that they failed to realize the games played this season…
Honestly it's nice to know that most of the original characters weren't tempted to" join the games" again. They are at peace with their current lives.

Even Arisu's motivation didn't involve himself afterall. Ann was already aware but was too hesitant to go back.
