does anyone know if this is going to be 3 episodes per week?? because there is no way gmmtv is about to air a series in a period of six months like I can't even envision it ππ
I really like the acting, but the directing wasn't that good. And the script was lacking something. You definitely have to fill in the gaps with your imagination and they just assume that we "get"things. The feelings between the actors is there though,I hope they appear in a better produced show!
What I gathered from this drama (with no big spoilers) as some people seemed confused : 1)Yoondaes dad married Soohyuks mom. The dad was an abuser so Yoondae used to run away from home all the time, and Soohyuk kind of put up with it and in his own way, tried to protect his "brother". 2) The marriage between Yoons dad and Soohs mom doesn't work out and they separate. Yoon keeps running away from dad, and stays with Soo for a bit,but then they fight and separate again. Yoon moves in with a girlfriend. Meanwhile all Soo does is work, pay for his mom's debts and deal with his REAL dad (who just got out of jail). 3) When Yoon breaks up with his girl he starts to live with Soo again but their relationship is still rocky. Yoon always needs money. He's also hiding his feelings from Soo,who is just too focused on surviving. 4) The ending is open but for me it was positive.
Damn i was shook for a minute but now that i know its gonna be 10 episodes per couple it makes more sense. I wish it wasnt another ENGINEERING bl but im thankful for what we have, i like scraps and breadcrumbs. Cant wait to see Perth ngl.
amazing, i was just talking to myself (i don't have friends) and this is exactly what i said. one comment said…
Exactly!!If you like this vibe,I also recommend Old Fashion Cupcake. It just hits every mark for me and clearly the actors were there to make a good show, period.
I had given up on korean bls for a long time now. To me,there always seemed to be something so artificial and unprofessional about them. With "the eighth sense" i decided to give it one last chance. And im glad that i did. The most important element here is the fact the director, production crew and actors actually seemed to care about this show. They didnt just want to make a "money grab BL". The choice of the main actors is also something that just made the show what it is. From the moment that they see each other you know that they want to be together. Or that they were just meant to be. I also love the indie, "angsty" vibes, and the choice of music. There are some great shots in there too. Overall,my message is this : you can tell when someone put love into a show. A solid 9 for me.
What japanese version did you watch the one I saw only had holding hands and a kiss behind elevator door? If there…
kurasawa falling over achi in the bedroom, holding his face, being seductive and suggestive especially on episode 8 after the reveal... undeniable that he is more provocative then Karan. Not complaining because he is perfect. But yeah. I still love this show.
My only issue with this show was the limited skinship. Im far from being a NSFW BL fan but COME ON. When you realise that the japanese version has more touching than this, you realise theres a problem. I mean, how do you get an established bl couple like NewTay and only get them to hold hands two times in 9 episodes? Okay, that kiss was actually slay, but i just was expecting more cute moments. Cuddling maybe??? Please, i beg of you....Karan deserves more appreciation.
All i have to say is that if youre a KinnPorshe, Onlyfriends type of person, this show is not for you. The end. No steaminess. No intense drama.Just cute couple stuff. A basic, light, fun BL to watch. I think people forget that GMMTV test the waters constantly with new actors so OBVIOUSLY its not going to be groundbreaking or Oscar worthy. Its an 8.5 for me, PERSONALLY i dint feel like i wasted my time!
so emotional, to see how much Tian and Phupa have grown as well as EarthMix. They clearly put all their heart into these few episodes, its a nice wrapped up finale and it didnt disappoint.
