You should watch this series. Even if you are not gay, i suppose.
After watching The Miracle of Teddy Bear i´m convinced that every gay person has gone through more or less the same experience that P´Nut did. Actually, writing this now is kind of funny considering BLs are supposed to have an accurate representation of what it is to be gay, but this show really made me look back and think that sometimes it is easy to accept the bare minimum. Obviously, there is no problem in watching a comedic unserious romance ( I LOVE THEM STILLL!) , but while watching P´Nut, it all just felt too real. Actually, it can be very - sometimes unconfortably - relatable. Yes the episodes are long, and sometimes you might question yourself, but in the end, what really makes this show what it is is the script. You can tell whoever wrote it really cared about the story. About the characters, the plotwists, the message and the performance. EVERYTHING! For me, it all felt so genuine and not like a simple "moneymaking bl" , like there was actual care and love. Also, although the actors are straight , it is true the feeling you get that they really DID care about learning their characters story , about trying to represent struggles, feelings and emotions - especially the actor for P´Nut. They did their best, and in the end it all came together. I am glad i watched this series, and i feel like it can make you remeber things you tried to forget. I feel happy. So thank you for everyone involved, and i hope people give this a chance.
FIRST OF ALL! Yes it is a fact of LIFE that the story for the Eclipse did not give. at all. But can you really lie and say that there was no ROMANCE...? All i hear are crickets. First and Khao managed to take that script, read the most cheasy lines in human history and still deliver one of the best performances of all time. Why? Because they simply could. Because their chemistry is non-debatable. Its a slap in the face, in the sense of " no one will ever look at me like Akk looks at Ayy " . But it makes you happy, because you can just FEEL how much they love each other. 10-10 if you are single and never fell in love. The Eclipse will make you understand how it feels like.
On a more serious note, yes, the story was lacking at some points. The curse, Suppalo, the protesters . But its not bad in the sense of " oh no i couldnt even get past the first 5 minutes!!" . As i, and many other people stated, what saved this show was First and Khao. Therefore, if you feel curious, please give it a try! You will not waste your time, this i promise .
Just my 2 cents, but when a relationships starts with pure physical attraction and sex like theirs did, I think…
yes thats true, it just makes me laugh because it seems like they COMPLETELY forget about it so it even gets me confused like, did it even really happen?? About p´ Dean and Pharm, so true. I´m trying to guess who will be the first one to mention the subject . My bet is on Team , though Win talking about it would be better, in my point of view.
Dont get me wrong, i like this show, it makes me giggle and root for the couples, but something that always had me IN TEARS since UWMA is that Team and Win seem to have some kind of amnesia. They kiss, have cute moments, Win hugs him while they sleep, they fck , but after all that happens the next scene is always something like them questioning if they have feelings for one another. TEAM HE LITERALLY KISSED YOU ON THE FOREHEAD AND FIXED YOUR TIE. Wake up!!!!!!?? No one can be that dense. And yes, you can say that they just dont want to accept it, and that might be true, but i still laugh i mean, just look at ep 7. They go to the bathroom, something nasty happens. Ep 8 is like nothing ever happened and Team starts having an existencial crisis.
I know this will never happen but i wish Tul and Waan had their own spinoff. I catch myself thinking about them on the middle of the scenes with other characters, although i love everyone obviously. Maybe if fans in Thailand give them enough hype they might give them a bl in the future?
i am pleasantly surprised by the fact that winteam started off their journey as sex buddies like woah honestly…
you took the words out of my mouth omfg this is so true, i would be asking myself "what IS this relationship??" , like, unexplained tension everytime they were on screen, but now i completely get why we felt like this!
FIRST OF ALL! Yes it is a fact of LIFE that the story for the Eclipse did not slay. at all. But can you really lie and say that there was no ROMANCE...? All i hear are crickets. I honestly feel like Zuho is a genuine person, he wouldn't do a BL "just for the fame". At least, this is the energy I get from him. It was upsetting to see homophobic comments on his live when he was talking about it, but he's just too grown to care, so he gracefully brushed it off . And honestly, I'm happy that we have idols starring in bls because, in my mind, the more representation the better. But I also get that there are those actors that dgf about the gays and it could make some people feel suspicious about their intentions.
So first of all I have to say this: do NOT come to this show expecting to watch something serious. This show is by far one of the most exaggerated, absurd bls I've watched but somehow, also one of the funniest. It makes you laugh out loud, scream at the same time as the characters, and also want to hide because Toh can be so cringe - but that's the POINT. Some people talking about his room and his need to collect things...yes. It's crazy. But as I said it's meant to be like that. Which part of the show signals for us to take it seriously? The bright colours, exaggerated responses...anyway, it might be a lot for some people but that's okay. At the end of the day, it's a fun little TV show and Nuea is hot af. Would recommend for laughs and entertainment. Overall, a good show!
