all the cast of actors did a wonderful job and portrayed their roles with perfection!! it was unexpedtedly so good and enjoyable drama!! so highly recommended as one of the best rom-com of this year!!

though if it is the case but I think it has something to do also with her look too for inability to be close to her cause once she lost weight and being more fit, he felt to be more attracted to her and the way he looked at her changed obviously

jae yi's mother is not too much mentioning about her in the drama, she is a concubine and seemingly jae yi's father was having a casual relationship with her
she passed away when jae yi was a baby I think

it is because he was seeing her fatty so unattractive type for him and unable to get close to her anymore that is why she started going to the gym for changing her life for being a better version of herself in order to forget about him and having more confidence in herself

it would have been so hectic for lee chae min surely to play this role while he was filming another drama at the same time!! I feel this actor shouldn't be disappointing in this role and I really hope he will change the mind of people about him when showing a great performance in this show while his previous dramas wasn't so successful...
though he wasn't preparing in advance for this drama according to what you say but I think picking him for this role wasn't wrong when they were in urgent need for a substitute actor!!

once we talked about this drama, I got to be more interested and knew that it wouldn't be disappointing at all and couldn't wait to start it soonly!! one of the best rom-com that shouldn't be missed!!

lee jae wook was having the most wonderful acting in this drama

the drama became much better in the three last episodes and towards the end it made a great difference in making the show more exciting!! it was overall so good drama to watch and one of the best historical dramas ever seen!!
