both of male leads are not the real brothers of female and not blood related to her as first male lead is an imposter of her real half brother while second male lead is an adoptive son of her family so no incest relationship between any of female and both of male leads
but it sounds so weird to make an adoptive son falling for his sister and surely better for a romance when two leads are not related in anything

it is not for two mens but a men and women for something so much awful carrying an obscene meaning...
male felt ashamed all his life for having such unwanted drawing on his back while the painter considered a talisman for him by torturing children and making such tattoos in the most painful way could be seen!!

I know it is so weird to make the story as adoptive brother to fall for his sister after being raised for many years as brother-sister relationship but there was some who considered their relationship as an incest just this word is not applicable for such case when second male lead is not her real brother neither first male lead is an half sibling of hers
I surely prefer to make it a romance for something else than adoptive brother and sister when not being related for anything but the drama overall was so good

in the romance part of the story they are making it a love triangle between first male lead fake hongrang and jae yi and the other pair is second male lead mu jin and jae yi which is only one sided love cause jae yi is only attracted to first male lead
anyway neither of male leads are her real brothers as first male lead is an imposter of her real brother and second male lead is an adoptive son of her family

I think if not wrong when sim yeol guk was married to min yeon ui, he was in a relationship with kkot nim cause she wanted avenging from him for not wanting her and their unborn child while his wife forced him to choose either to lose his high position in the guild for the sake of his lover either he will keep being with lady min so choosing the wealth
for jae yi's mom, I think she was the first he was in a relationship with her as jae yi is the older sister of the real hongrang, so it was a casual relationship though we don't know a lot about her in the story

the real hongrang fell into a well and passed away, after 12 years of disappearane his sister jae yi found his skelton by coincidence under the mud at the bottom

this is not about incest relationship at all!!
even when second male lead was in love with female while he is an adoptive son, he asked his adoptive father to disown him for making it a rational marriage and not being socially prejudiced
overmore they made male an imposter of hongrang ending up to reveal his truth for female to not make her feeling guilty and confused about their relationship when they started to fall for each other and being so close
so in conclusion they are not trying to make an incest relationship with this love triangle when neither of these two males are the real brothers of female or being blood related to her in addition this drama is not tagged to be about a taboo romance or forbidden relationship
if it was promoting for making a romance in incest relationship, this would had been despised by all watchers and won't get such decent ratings and large number of viewers!!
they won't lower the standards of korean dramas and they won't invest in a show for something cringy and despicable like incest relationship!!

didn't watch it yet, I usually watch any drama once being all aired
I plan to watch ahead: spring of youth, our unwritten seoul and pump up the healthy love, when it will be completed but will look forward the haunted palace after that as it would be absolutely interesting
I was glad with dear hongrang for the fact of not having a tormenting airing schedules when it was aired in one go unlike the usual korean dramas

absolutely it is having the same attractive vibes of alchemy of souls and one of the best dramas of this year being another successful historical drama for lee jae wook
I liked the dark fiction revealed more towards the end and the mystery part was so greatly written!!
the magnificent chemistry as expected made me even more clinging to this show
I would have rated it 9 unless the drama wasn't ended sadly like that
the wonderful OST is itself something so dazzling that made this show eve shining more!!

oh my God it is taking ages to be completely aired!!

tall and light with long white hair, pale skin, and blue eyes, the snow man has become a boogeyman of sorts for the people living in and lurking around the min family guild
he is often sighted alongside the mysterious abduction or return of a young boy

his true identity is unknown for anybody but towards the end, we know he is mortal as hongrang kills him in episode 10, slitting his throat after they battle
with this death, the painter loses a strong fighter

he is just an added character for serving the mystery genre of the story and had something to do with the dark past of the fake hongrang

it is an enjoyable and breathtaking journey!!

lee jae wook never disappointed in this drama, he is the one mastering all the fighting scenes with marvelous performance and great cinematography that as predictable he did a wonderful job with utter perfection of wielding swords in addition to his captivating and firing chemistry with jo bo ah that stolen all the attention in addition to the promising cast of all lead actors who were chosen so amazingly fitting their roles

the drama had a strong beginning and was really catching the attention from the first scene but felt at the middle draggy by adding many plots that making it going downward then the story became much better in the last three episodes turning the plot into something dazzling by revealing more of the unresolved mystery

the OST was one of the best ever seen and that took the audience into another world of magnificent melody!!

I was expecting it to be better than this but can't deny though having a sad ending and ability to summarize the drama a bit more, it was completely so good and recommended as one of the strongest historical korean dramas!!

it is deserving a fair rating of 8.5 considered an overall acceptable and decent drama to watch

this is a sad ending, leads were supposed to end up together but male couldn't make it till the end to stay with female when he fell sick and injured

they are not real siblings, male is an imposter that pretended to be hongrang in purpose of revenge
romance in the first half of the drama is not the focus but later on it will blossom between leads knowing that he is not her true brother so it is not confusing to watch it as long it is predictable to not turn out being a taboo romance regarding the drama is not tagged to be about a forbidden relationship
for her other brother mu jin, he is an adoptive son of the sim family so the same not her real brother
