I think you are missing some parts of the show if that's the conclusion you have. She's one of the most selfless FL's I've come across in Cdrama-land.

FL's friend is so nice and supportive. It's sweet to have someone like that in her life. Hope the friend ends up with the other doctor.

Just finished ep 2, and so far really enjoying this. They are really cute together and I can see chem developing. Surprisingly, I was even moved a couple of times.

The ending is as expected. I am glad the show is over and I'm done with it though.

I finished ep 29, and she's not awake yet. So, maybe she'll take up in ep 30 (last episode) unless the director wants to add a new twist and keeps her in the dream world indefinitely.

Yes, he has always loved her. There's one scene he said along the line of "I've waited so long already, what's more to waiting a little longer."

If this ends without HQ with the Lord, I feel like season 2 is needed with Him getting a second chance with her. 😀

I agree. She doesn’t care of his status. She just wants the person she loves to protect her at all cost and that she’s#1 in his eyes. That’s why HRZ was a beggar with a tainted background and she still looks at him in positive lights. The Lord was rich with a noble status, but wouldn’t give up everything to be with her. That’s why HRZ is how she imagined her ideal man to be - basically, protect her with his life.

From what I've gathered, the scent is from the real world. While she was unconscious, the Lord has been burning scent to perhaps attempt to reawaken her by triggering her psyche.

I think you missed the finer point. The Princess would wipe out Hua family if FL chose to be with the Lord. Since she lost her family once, she's doing everything she can to protect them, and that means not pissing the Princess off. As you can see, the Lord couldn't even protect her from the Princess.

So much is finally dumped on us in ep 27. Who would have thought (xxx) is behind it all? I certainly didn't expect that from (xxx). Now we know why HQ had always wanted to leave Zong Garden and tried to deny and fight her attraction to the Lord.
