I haven't watched enough of Sebrina's work to see the similarity. I think I only watched 3 episodes worth of Maiden Holmes; and back then I hadn't come across Zhou Ye either, so there was no connecting the points from her. I'll be mindful to make the comparison if I watch any of Sebrina's future work.
They're both pretty. I do think ZZY has a stubborn jawline with tight lips. Not sure if it's the way she speaks, but she seems like she's always biting her words or tensing the lower half of her face. =P
In historical China, people with the same last name normally live in the same village/community, so in a way, they are all related. To prevent incest and inbreeding, most Chinese women marry out to a different village/community with a different last name, and Chinese men pick women from another village to join their community
Almost 99% sure HQ won't be with HRZ. In historical China, it's a taboo to be in a relationship/marriage with someone of the same last name. The writer would have given HRZ a different last name if he/she wanted him to have a chance with her. She cares for him as part of the "family", but definitely not amorously as a lover would.
Except man'er family! in that family, no one seems to know what is right or wrong. I think they will become a…
All the characters in the drama who are not morally straight are most likely simulated by the game system. They are meant to be corrupted and unsavory characters so that Man'Er has to solve the problems assigned while navigating and handling these difficult characters who act as deterrent for each level of the game (mini-arc/story).
I think Shen Nuo and Thirteen are also real people testing the game. As for Ye'er, I'm not sure if she's real. They are in a multiplayer virtual reality game environment. When the game is over, Shen Nuo and Man'er meet in the world and proceed with a relationship. I think that's the best outcome.
I really like Joseph Zeng in here. I didn't enjoy his last several dramas as much as when he was in Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre. He has these soulful eyes.
They are together but not publicly. It’s not very obvious but given her superstar status, keeping the relationship…
Sometimes, thing can't be clearly stated especially in a complicated situation because it opens a can of worm. In such case, we got to read between the lines for the truth.
Can someone spoil me the ending? I don't have time to watch another drama hahaha
They are together but not publicly. It’s not very obvious but given her superstar status, keeping the relationship a secret is the only way to be together.
Bae Suzy is so pretty. The director/production team did a great job casting her as Doona. Bae Suzy really has that mega-idol aura in making Doona believable as a superstar.
I enjoy this director's work. He has eyes for beauty in capturing nuances through the camera lens.
