I'm glad Ye Yun is growing into a confident person, taking her happiness into her own hands, and setting out to achieve her personal goals and life purpose. It's so nice to see that she and her brother have a great relationship, and he's finally letting her be herself.

At the finger-crushing scene, I'm hoping LZS experienced immense pain and jealousy in hearing how much trust, love, and faith Yuru has for GJS, and what a dignified and great person GJS is; and that LZS himself will never achieve that status in her eyes.

YR needed to see the Emperor on behalf GJS, and according to the previous dynasty's imperial law, a woman's fingers are to be crushed before getting an audience with the Emperor. Wow! I love how GJS dished it out to the Princess in his prison cell; and the added enjoyment to me as a viewer is seeing his uncle leisurely listening to the scene like an Audiobook. The uncle commented that his nephew didn't inherit his romantic suaveness is hilarious. I was clapping when the Princess walked off in anger.

LZS has to go. I’m so tired of this character.

The part with Shen Ming writing Yun's name is so funny. After getting caught, he proceeded to continue writing with a rock like a besotted fool in love.😂

I like how the emperor didn't bow down to the Dowager's request about the marriage, and actually provided an opportunity for GJS to choose, and kind of gave RuGu a "protection" by gifting them "Best Couple."

I have the same view on LZS. So far, I don't see him having the power and enough soldiers to become an emperor. Yes, he can use his wealth to hire soldiers, but that's not sustainable. It just doesn't work with him vying for the throne. I'd give it to him to be a commissioner, but not emperor level.

Totally evil in my eyes.
