Ep 30 is so amazing. We get to see how much LC was into GX since the very beginning but had to act all cool and distant. It made me laugh even more thinking about it because in one of the early episodes in the game room when they first started dating, GX asked LC whether it was love at first sight for him. He turned to her, leaned in closely, and blatantly responded, "How is that possible?" - much to GX's displeasure. Hahaha. What a rascal!šš¤Ŗ
we are thankful to the author and those made this drama happening! def No 1 on my list for 2023
Yes, Iām equally thankful that the author is on board to add her brand of poignancy and beauty to the story, and to stay true to the essence of the novel as how she has visualized it. The director is also amazing in executing yummy, delicate scenes without appearing crude or tasteless.
I love EVERYTHING about this SIMPLE romance centric drama. There are so many great things about it, especially the chemistry between JBR & Seven. Yes, itās simple and plain, but itās loaded with a type of beauty that other Cdramas donāt have, and thus makes Road Home unique. Sometimes, people forget that less is more. There will always be those who claim the show should be more of this, less of that, how come this, how come that.
Road Home is a 10 for me. It hits all my spots right. JBR is now my #1 ML. Seven has always been on my fave list. I will remember and treasure the moments of joy that watching Road Home brought me.
Because he wanted to prioritize paying off his dadās debt so he didnāt need to marry the other lady.
Yes, they gave her parents' the money, but it wasn't LC's money to give originally. LC had to borrow a large amount from his BFF which he still must repay. I'm just relaying what the author wrote in the book which match up with what was said in the drama, albeit not as lengthy. LC said his plan was to pay off the debt in 2 years and save a little extra that's enough to cover for the wedding. Honestly, they were already officially married in the court of law. The banquet was just mere formality among friends and family, but also hecause LC didn't want to rob GX out of a wedding gown wedding/banquet/celebration as most brides should have.

Yes, full of angst and sadness. If that's not your cup of tea, I withdraw my recommendation. I enjoyed it because it's vastly different from 99% of the Cdramas in term of the director's creativity, color scheme, cinematography, excellent and carefully curated music, and chemistry.
This drama is literally the definition of showing skinship and good kiss scenes š« šAfter seeing many dramas,…
May I suggest you try out The Forbidden Flower in respect to "steamy scenes" and different from the typical Asian dramas regarding intimacy level. It's been out for maybe 2 months. It's a trailblazer in the drama world.
Last episode will be Lu Chen perspective of the story like in "A Love So Beautiful". I like that. š„°Ep 28, 29…
I don't mind this at all. It's alluded to that the baby is well loved. Them not "handling" the baby is the right thing to do in reality for the baby's safety. The show is already using a real baby in the drama which says a lot; and for such a small baby (less than 6 months), she's very fragile and shouldn't be passing along like a toy.
Ep 30 is a gem!
