I laughed at your comment because it reminded me of a stand up comedy clip I just saw yesterday. The comedian is half Asian, and he shared how his mom NEVER says " I love you" or physically hugs him, but her way of love for him is through her cooking. Thus it's a cultural thing. Asians don't express love through hugs nor verbally as often. They just say things like "eat some more, dress warmly, be careful, get some rest = " I love you."

Some European countries are already in decline. I remember France was offering incentive money for newborns several years ago. More recently, Greece was also offering money for newborns.

This may be the case now that you can have up to 5 without a penalty in the countryside. Chinese laws change all the time as needed as a way by the Communist political party in meeting its agenda and governing its people. As of right now, Chinese family can have up to 3 kids because of its declining population. However, because cost of living is so high now that modern families find 2 kids is the optimal number without being financially straining.

I don't know all the details as I'm not from China but from past readings and documentary, it depends. The parents get fined and maybe even get prison time. During the one child policy period, if the mom is pregnant and the couple already has a child, then the fetus will be aborted PLUS the mom will undergo (forced) sterilization. I remember an internationally famous Chinese director has 3 kids during the one child policy period; he must have a lot of political connections and of course wealthy enough to argue that he can support the kids financially, and/or he was residing outside of Chinese governing areas during that time. His scenario is rare. Anyhow, this is the reason why there are more male vs female in China now, and an immense number of bachelors who will forever stay single.

Because China used to be a one child policy. Then a few years ago it increased to 2-kids policy. I think now it’s up to 3 kids allowed. It’s to manage the population. Yes, it could be rejected but since LC and GX didn’t have a child previously, most likely it will be approved.

I like this one more than You Are my Glory, too. I skipped so many parts in YAMG. For Road Home, not only didn't I skipped, I even re-watched all episodes over last weekend while waiting for new episodes. THAT MUCH BETTER! 😁

He was a victim of bad make-up and poor costume fitting in One Smile is Very Alluring. =) Furthermore, he's more seasoned now as an actor. It's been well over 7 years since that movie which is a long time for a young actor's career. JBR is very hot though. Most of us are salivating over him in this forum. 😊
