Are the colour palette and CGI as good as love between fairy and devil? The latter is my top xianxia in terms…
I feel LBFAD is a bigger budget project, so it has more resources in term of costumes, settings, CGI. Color grading in LBFAD is also richer and more lush, thus I admit it's a nicer palette. However, I find myself skipping so many scenes that in the end, I didn't even finish it. So far, The Starry Love is delivering and I look forward to this series. Give it a try!
Aren't Chu Bufu and Wan Jie the same person? Why do those sects treat him now as different? Who is the current…
Chu Bufu and Wan Jie are the same person physically, but Wan Jie is the demonic version. He's a vessel of the true demon king spirit at the moment. Although Wang Yue seems to be heading the demon sect now, he's not blessed with the true demon power that resides in Wan Jie's body. That is my understanding so far.
So far, FL lead has done a wonderful job as YeTan. She's animated, perky, bold, and lives up to that "I can kick your a$$ attitude," yet I'm not annoyed by her at all. I can't wait for her to make everyone in the Heavenly Realm falls in love with her personality, especially ML.
I hope it's a decent series since it's directed by one of my favorite directors. I love his works such as The Long Ballad, The Blue Whisper, and Ashes of Love; his others are just as popular.
Let's hope the story is awesome and the stars' performance shine.
The sound effects person takes the grand award and he/she deserves a big bonus! This person is sooooo in-tune with the essence of drama, and in-sync with the director's creative view. Ep 7. has sections of Vivaldi's Summer concerto, showcasing the mom's inner turmoil, pain, struggle, and RanRan's hopelessness. The visual cuts to match the staccato strings are amazing, giving the viewers a glimpse of the mom's mental status. Whoever did the edit deserves an award, too!!!
This drama, I feel like I'm enjoying a medley of carefully curated music paired with just as stunningly beautiful visual arts, like poetry for the eyes and ears.
I LOVE IT!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the creative team on this project!!

Please mark"spoiler" if needed since some of you read the novel.
