I proposed just "older man", approval staff shot it down. So it stays.
Cool. Not trying to make you go back and forth with admin staff, but what is MDL's source? Themselves?, aka. the MDL Nazi? 🤪 I'm sorry but I'm leaning more toward Tencent, the original network/platform of this series. One would think they know their show more than MDL. I also understand your concern about not knowing how it will end. We don't have to include the last part about living happily forever. The summary can end at "They regain the confidence and hope in life."😀 Hope it gets approve..otherwise...it truly is MDL Nazi. They probably will ban me now. hahaha

Can we change it to match what TENCENT has on their website? It sounds so much better than the silly summary above, misleading everyone with the age agenda.
"The series is about the patient, He Ran, learning about life, romance and personal growth in the last stage of her life, and how after she coincidentally met the excellent horticulturist, Xiao Han, who had a rough life and almost lost all his confidence, they have found the most important missing part of their lives in each other. They regain the confidence and hope in life, and eventually be happy forever after."
May I propose any talented, resourceful individual assists with changing the above drama summary? I think it sounds better to change "a middle-age man" to "a man" in the sentence "romance between a 20-year-old girl, He Ran, and a middle-aged man." Middle-age is between 45-60 and it sounds like our dad. Since the drama is adapted from a novel, it's not necessarily following 100%. The drama already changed He Ran's age to from 18 to 20. Xiao Han could be anywhere between 30-45, and to some viewers, that age range may be easier to accept. That age thing is so misleading altogether, honestly. If I could, I would remove it and simply have it as "A winter-summer romance between He Ran and Xiao Han....blah blah blah the rest"
I can't be the only one who's actually liking the mum and Yuanqi's storyline? The chemistry between these two…
I like the concept of older woman/younger man, but for some reasons, it's not quite working it for me with this couple. I agree that the mom should have her own happiness, too. However, the connection seems forced. Hopefully, it gets better over the next few episodes.
Life is short. He Ran knows this. She's living her life the way she wants instead of catering to what THEY want from her. What I admire the most is she being honest with herself. She doesn't fake it in how she treats people, sometimes even coming off as cold and harsh; why pretend to be otherwise? But to those she loves, she gives it all.
Love how He Ran puts Qin Zao in her place by passing on the washing socks message. The message is subtle enough to indicate how close her relationship is with Xiao Han. She's no easy push over.
Many of you may be wondering why the deleted scenes, especially those with sex or overly sensual, were cut. I assure you had it been up to the director, those scenes would most likely be included, but in China, television programs are controlled by the government. The National Radio and TV Admin decides what programs are shown and it censors materials with too much sex, too sexy, too sensual. Anything that the admin feels it may corrupt the mind, it gets censored.
At least these deleted clips were leaked so we can enjoy them. =)
This scene was so touching. He was so defeated, plopping his body weight with arms on his sides onto Hae-yi for comfort. So much pain and internal turmoil.
the way the twist in the relationship between young woo and Jae won was handled made me very uncomfortable and…
I found this part tasteless and poorly written as well. It wasn't necessary at all for the writer to have Young Joo coerce and have predatory intention on Jae Woo.
I truly enjoy this show but I wish they had done the murder mystery plotline a bit differently. Somehow the whole…
Exactly how I feel. Totally disappointed and a mood killer with all the revelations from ep 12. I don't even know how to enjoy the remaining 4 eps. It might as well just end at ep 13.
Ji sec's case was the most predictable and unrealistic from the very beginning. The writer didn't even try.
I'm sooooo upset now with the writer. Mr. Ji's story arc is totally messed up. I understand we can never tell a person from the surface but that lesson is not necessary in this rom-com.
Normally, I’m not one to cuss, but seriously, what the F@#$CK happened in ep 12? Did the original screenwriter get Covid-19 and was hospitalized indefinitely so the producer found a rookie substitute writer to whip something up messily so that they can wrap up the series?! I’m so disappointed with Mr. Ji’s story. Did they really have to write him up as the psychopathic serial killer? Totally ruined the direction of a nice drama. Then there’s Young Joo (NHS’s bestie) coming onto Jae Woo. I love these two, but the writer had her targeting Jae Woo in a predatory way, although seemingly innocent, but very inappropriate. It’s a supposedly rom-com with some drama, but it’s turned into a mess covering a plethora of dark topics including murder, mental illness, sexual exploitation, suicide, stress, bullying, corruption, cheating, dysfunctional family, etc. Sighhhh…I’m simply sad right now because I don’t know how the show is going to end nicely.
Hope it gets approve..otherwise...it truly is MDL Nazi. They probably will ban me now. hahaha
