The adult version just showed up in the latest ep 6. So, not much to go off at the moment. He at least looks decent. 😀 And I'm ready to like him based on his communication with his brother via mail.

I don't get it why luo family gave everything to tian family, no way they trust tian family that much
They don't have a better option. The eldest son is supposed to marry the Tian daughter, so in essence, they would be related. Also, the Tian 's family used to serve the Luo's family, so there's a secondary connection. If father Luo didn't sign the properties over, it would all be confiscated by the gov't; then there would definitely be no hope in getting anything back.
