I never saw the attraction in men sporting ring on the index finger, but why does it look so damn sexy and masculine on Ashile Sun. It adds so much to his mighty warrior aura.
When a character has the power to make you romanticize, you know it’s a good one.
Because we love that awesome kickass scene in ep 32 ... here is the replay.I noticed that whenever A'Sun is on…
I literally just rewatched 32 and love this scene - from leaping off the roof to a cool landing and quickly flinging the blade sword to save CG. Yes , that calling music is always associated to AS. I just LOVE the slow motion of how he had her arm around him and shouldered her up. There’s so many good scenes in 32.
I just re-watched ep. 32 at the scene where Ah Sun asked CG to return to the grassland with him and she said she thought they were done. He didn’t look happy at all and she said to discuss this matter later since there were spectators present.
Poor Ah Sun must have had one restless, sleepless night, fretting while strategizing at the same time on how to grasp onto CG. The next day, he said to her that ONE night has passed, let’s talk about this matter now. Hahaha. Our Ah Sun is not wasting precious time for the strong urge to ‘fess up is overwhelmingly real.
At this point, I'd take anything with them paired up.
While I'm waiting for upcomingMonday, I also tried a few new dramas this week, but found myself skipping through episodes, and none was able to hold my attention for long. Sigh...in the end, I resorted to either re-watching well-loved scenes of TLB or reading and typing away on MDL. Strangely, no panic in sight but rather well-contented with our GeSun to hold the light for us.

@kaju this is what happens when you sit in front of the computer all day multitasking. =) But that aside, I already knew about Li Shi Min and the Tang dynasty. The drama just makes me read up some more as I watch it. I tend to do this when I watch historical series.
I only have eyes for Ah Sun and Li Jing. I do like Mujin in the manhwa though.
I enjoyed Mujin pranking AS for writing something like "my little strategist is cute". The manhwa creator did a funny spin on having AS drafted the message with his ugly as hell calligraphic penmanship.
I'm glad that the director makes AS literate and highly intelligent in TLB; which is why I don't mind the liberal deviation in the storyline between the manhwa and the drama. Both media are very entertaining.

@biao Your map works great because it delineates the Turks and the Han (Tang dynasty) better than today's google map. Locations of the above mentioned cities remain unchanged, with the exception of YouZhou renaming to Beijing. The true location of historical YouZhou was actually about 40 miles west of modern day Beijing.

So in term of timeline, CG's family was killed on July 2, 626. This incident went down in history as Xuanwu Gate. She then went to from Chang'An to YouZhou (Beijing in modern day), about 700 miles.
Then she and Ah Dou traveled ~250 miles west to Shuozhou. She spent July/August here as General Li.
After the fall of ShuoZhou, Ah Sun took her back to his Eagle camp that is close to YunZhou (about 100 miles northeast). She spent August/September here. This was indicated because she spent Mid-Autumn Festival (August 15th on a lunar calendar) here; the day AS gave her the moonstone. On the Gregorian calendar, Mid-Autumn Festival normally falls on anywhere between first week of Sept to first week of Oct, and it changes every year.
After she and AS had the big fight, she got injured and was saved by her martial arts master and the doctor, and they all traveled about ~450 miles south to Luoyang.
This can be a great thing to generate interest in TBL, it's that perfect. I would have watched TBL right away…
Excellent MV's on TLB! I particularly enjoy the solo piece on Ah Sun, but all your TLB MV's are great! Born Ready was the perfect selection to showcase Sun's BadAssNess. I saved it to my library -- which is rare.
the bratty crown prince really needs more good ol spanking. cant believe even his time with the wrestlers didn't…
According to history, he died at 26 as a commoner. He had a failed coup d'etat against his father and wasn't highly regarded in history. That's why his character in TLB is presented with some negative tone to us viewers.
May I suggest fellow TLB fans visit the link above to make an official request to Netflix. Then "heart/like" the master thread so that we have an idea on submission count. Can someone suggest me a drama from any country that:a)has a unique way of story telling (like how there are Manhua…
@676Ryn You can try the kdrama titled "W". It has webtoon integrated into the story and very different from the typical kdrama. It was the first of its kind when I first watched it in term of marrying webtoon with reality.
LoL aside from drooling over the actors, anyone else reading up on the historical basis? Anyone figured out which…
Ah Sun's eagle tribe is most likely part of the Eastern Turkic Khaganate and they lived north of China, inner Mongolia. For Ah Sun's tribe specifically and in TLB story, Khan and Ashile tribe probably spanned around up to 200 north/northeast of Shuozhou. For geographic point of reference, you can look up Shuozhou, China on google map. A little north/northeast of Shuozhou is land where the Eastern Turks roamed circa 620's.

Other interesting point to share is that CG traveled northeast from Chang'an (Xian, China) to Shuozhou, and that's about 500 miles.
