That's how I felt the first 10 episodes, but it does get better. Not sure how far along you are. I don't feel the chemistry either, but William Chan really does a great job as HaoMing, especially when he's starting to act silly.

ep 22, bromance is sooooo awesome!! I love these two working together!! So hilarious how they are sharing stories! HaoMing and YuMing teaming up.

I highly doubt it's the little brother. He just had his "coming of age" event, meaning he's not seasoned enough to plan something this big and complex involving high ranking officials from another country.

It's definitely not the queen herself behind the mask. She may have underlyings doing her bidding, but she wouldn't go around as the masked villain.

Feng Sui Ge knew Jing Shi shot and tried to kill FYX, someone who he said to love. Sui Ge also knew if Jing Shi could do that to FYX, that meant Jing Shi was heartless enough to harm sister, too.

I'm so impressed with the fighting scene in the alley between FYX and WeiRan in ep 12. Such great cinematography!! The alley was half dark and half lit, and they were battling between the two areas.

I'm bias. I like this one more. I enjoyed Shadow Love, and like Cheng Lei, but this one is just one notch better to me with everything considered. 🥰

She knew it wasn't the ML who shot her. As of the latest episode, she remembered it was her prince Xia Jing Shi who shot her.

He is very dashing in here. But I think a few of us have been "terrorized" by him as described by someone in the forum. He played a psychopath in a recent drama. So, even though he's handsome, he induces slight PTSD in some people. 🙄
