I’m up to ep 12. Chu Zhao is such an interesting gray character. I can’t detect what his ultimate goal is. The drama is doing a good job in keeping us in suspense with him.

The fight scenes are so good, especially when HY is using the whip!!!

He’s implying that He Yan herself is also fierce, nothing like what a real lady would normally be, quiet and gentle. He’s alluding that he knows her other side.

I think that’s one of the main reasons why he’s cast for this role; his perfected skill in still-life-side-eyeing while being alert, giving off the I’m onto you aura. 😀
