I just searched and re-watched that part again; Ep 3 at 20:40 mark. He DOES know who she is. Both ML and 2ML know.

ML remembers who FL is, but pretends he doesn't know her? 2ML asked ML in ep 3 or 4 if he remembers her, and ML says yes, but he can't acknowledge her?! Or was it referencing something else and ML actually doesn't know FL is the same spirit he saved a decade ago?

Please help jog my memory...

I'm never tired of this series. This version is my favorite. Whenever I'm out of things to watch, somehow this series always ended up playing in the background while I'm multi-tasking.

I stopped watching Kdramas. The storylines and main topics are getting stupid and dark. The golden era of hallyu has ended. Maybe there’s 1-2 good ones per year now compare to before. Cdramas is more entertaining these days. Never got into jdramas. But hey, everyone is different, just like some only like to watch Thai dramas/Bl/Lakorn and think those are the best. 😀

It’s still happening as of the latest episode (23). So, not sure when they will reconcile. It’s been about 4 episodes so far.

Didn't she talk Zheng Zhi Heng into giving her money? She even told Lady Huan that the money was from ZZH.

FL thought ML tried to kill her. ML intentionally didn't straighten out the misunderstanding because he thought he was dying soon anyway, so he didn't want her to go through a difficult time with his inevitable death should they continue to be in a relationship.

No one in the mass audience knows the ending in advance is indeed a positive thing. We can all speculate and drum up interest for the drama.
