I've watched enough Cdramas and knowing the tough Chinese media censorship threshold, I know ML and FL aren't really blood siblings. At most as cousins, but I haven't seen these in the recent dramas. Only old novels and classic dramas may have cousin kinship. However, that doesn't take away how we are curious in how these two are connected. Let's find out together!!!

The recommendation fits someone like me perfectly because I DID rewatch last week Hidden Love, I DO want to find a light drama to accompany TSFPG, and I PREFER to watch airing shows to participate in discussion on forum such as this one. I think what we really want to know is "are they blood related? cousin? some kind of relative? Because..it sets a different tone in how the romantic relationship takes on down the road.

Thanks, but sadly there's nothing "light" airing right now. All the shows on my current watchlist has a sad and/or dark, heavy tone tilt at the moment. Well, I'm staying on to see FL kicks ML's butt and steals his cold heart. =)

LYN is fitting of the ML's role for me, too. He portrays a detached and cold persona well here.

After finishing 4 epis, I'm not sure how I feel about The Story of Pearl Girl. A lot of scenes are too difficult and uncomfortable for me to watch, just too heavy. The director also did LuoYang, so I kind of get his style and tone.

A few things come to mind. I love the kid. I like that ML's right hand man likes FL and her grit. I was never a big fan of Liu Yu Ning, but I like him in here; even more than in A Journey to Love. Lu Si also does a great job as a feisty and smart FL.

Is the new character, YingLei, with the golden hair in ep 6 Miles Wei/Wei Zhe Ming? It looks so much like him, but this character isn't shown on the cast list yet.
