I agree. That's why I feel this is his best role or most suitable for him because up until the last couple of episodes, he's been a bada*s persona.

A prince's and princess' title isn't the same as the order of their birth. For example, the title Crown Prince doesn't have to the eldest prince. Had the Emperor announced MRJH who's the third son as next in line for succession to the throne, MRJH would be addressed as The Crown Prince even though the first born son, MRXL, was still alive. Also, depending on who's doing the translation, they have liberty with the terms used, so sometimes, there's a bit of confusion going on with First Prince, First Princess... etc.

I have to laugh every time the drama mentioned FL liked to eat Dragon Meat. It's such a pun because the term Dragon Meat is synonymous to the Emperor and his children. Mei Lin's enjoyment of Dragon Meat is likened to her consuming MRJH; that they are a pair. 🤪😁

There is no mentioning of #2, so, that means #2 could be a princess or dead; someone not in the running for the throne. The Emperor's children went by the order of birth regardless of gender.

I love Baron, and agree he's doing an excellent job being a villain. His facial features softened and sometimes showed a hint of genuine, guileless smile when with LuoMei; then I'm reminded of the charismatic Baron, not MRXL.

I don't think so she will end up marrying the Crown Prince. As you said, it's just too terrible an idea, and too cruel a thing for the author/creator to write her character such a foul path. She, is, afterall, a true general and loyal to her country. She didn't do anything wrong nor evil other than admiring JingHe. Let's hope she just stays single.
