First episode - She recognised his sword and he knew who she was, didn't quite understand if they have a history…
In wuxia, sometimes a sword have its name inscribed on it; and based on this name, martial artists would know the bearer's name. Other times, people in the community just know who's who based on the over descriptions on overall look and weapon.

How would you rate it so far? is it promising?
So far, very good. I'm chasing episodes. I'm hoping it stays entertaining past mid-point.

Oh snap! I haven't seen a recent Joseph drama in a hot minute and I think Li Qin is pretty capable. I'm not sure…
I finished all 4 eps. So far, it's more wuxia than fantasy to me. The only "fantasy" part is the blue eyes part and the power behind it. There are no dragons and animated creatures. I think you will enjoy it.

How is this so far?
Worth watching. Reminiscent of old classic wuxia style in storytelling and fighting. I'm enjoying it and looking forward to new episodes.

The number of things I analogised the entire idea with though!I could imagine myself picking mochis with spatula!…
LOL...it does look like sesame and plain mochis.

🤣🤣🤣Poor HZB, self doubting.
I don't see sign of any self-doubt. He seems rather sure of himself when making that statement.😁

Do we get 2 episodes a day?
That seems to be the case except starting next week, there's no eps on Thu & Fri's.

I've seen a lot of cdrama chess/go games over the years. I really have to give creative credit to how it's done in ep 2. Large chess pieces on a flattened boulder surface isn't new, but using a wood peel to lay the chess pieces down is rather interesting.

Gonna wait for this to finish airing, the synopsis is giving heartbreak and not gonna end up together type shi
Start now! I never follow the blurb 100% percent because sometimes it's rather misleading. Not to mention, it's a very good watch so far up to ep 2.

How's this thing so far?
It's really good!! I just finished ep 2. It has all the old fashion wuxia elements. I'm really enjoying it and laughing a lot (not because it's a comedy) because it brings back great memories of Jin Yong's works.

Wow..just finished ep 1, and I'm loving it!!! It has the classical wuxia elements and feel to it such as trap formation and multiple sects. Nice sword fights and choreography. I like that FL uses flying needles as her weapon of choice just like Xiao Long Nu. Joseph looks AWESOME in here! He's perfect for the role. His eyes are so expressive especially when he's conflicted or in a sad and sorrowful state.

I really don't understand the age gap [real life] tag at all...aren't these tags supposed to help you get a gist…
I totally agree with you. It's sad and borderline pathetic how MDL has become catering to silly tag such as "real life age gap." Some admins have too much time on their hands and went overboard with their little user-admin rights. I had to roll my eyes when I came across this tag once for a drama when the age difference was 4 years, regardless whether if was FL>ML, or vice vice versa. Next thing you know, there'll be tags for "gray hair", "white hair", "midget", "monolid." Ranting done.
On Street Dance of China Season 6 Oct 7, 2024
Just finished episode 1 and I must say I'm LOVING IT! The format is back to how I prefer it from the past 5 seasons. I'm also happy to see majority of the dancers/contestants are new this season. Excited for the remaining episodes!

This drama is like one big interactive game played by all characters. Knights, rooks, bishops, even pawns, from each side all have their own respective roles and purposes. It's such an awesome watch. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the once in a while propagandas embracing communist idealism.

Big kudos to FeiHang being such a credible young performer. She has a bright future ahead of her as an actress!
